Oversigt
There we will stop for about 1 hour where you can admire splendid views, the cathedral with the panorama of Etna and the famous Turrisi bar, where you can taste the famous almond wine.
On the way back we will go to Taormina, where we will stop for about 2 hours to visit the entire Corso Umberto, where there are numerous shops, the ancient Greek theatre, and the possibility of tasting typical local products, or if you prefer there will also be the possibility of extending the stop if you wish to have lunch there.
On the way back we will stop "at the balcony", where we can admire the panorama of Isola Bella and take some photos.
On the way back to Messina, we will stop at Cristo Re, where you can admire the panorama of the Strait of Messina and the Duomo cathedral with the largest astronomical clock in Europe.
If you want, we will offer you one of the typical local products such as arancini, granita or cannoli.

Castelmola
Fra havnen i Messina tager det cirka 60 minutter at nå Castelmola. Undervejs vil vi beundre Siciliens fantastiske landskaber og rejse tilbage i tiden, hvor vi genopdager øens historie. Når vi ankommer til den middelalderlige landsby, stopper vi i cirka en time, hvor du kan beundre den fantastiske udsigt, typiske lokale butikker, katedralen med udsigt over Etna og den berømte Turrisi-bar, hvor du kan smage mandelvin, hvis du har lyst.

Taormina
Vi ankommer til Taormina kort efter Castelmola, hvor vi stopper i cirka to timer. Du får mulighed for at udforske hele det historiske centrum på egen hånd, inklusive adskillige butikker, det antikke græske teater og mulighed for at smage typiske lokale produkter. Hvis du foretrækker det, kan du også forlænge dit ophold, hvis du ønsker at spise frokost der. På vej tilbage stopper vi ved et panoramaudsigtspunkt, hvor vi kan beundre panoramaet over Isola Bella naturreservat. Vi bliver der i cirka 10 minutter, og efter et par billeder tager vi igen mod Messina.

Messina
Tilbage i Messina stopper vi ved Cristo Re, et panoramisk og historisk punkt, hvor du kan beundre udsigten over Messinastrædet. Hvis du har lyst, tager vi dig også med til Messina for at smage på et af vores typiske lokale produkter, hvor de lokale tager hen, inden turen afsluttes ved Duomoen med det smukke astronomiske ur.

Andrea was an incredible guide! He interacted with each of us, explained the history of each stop and provided us with great views and even bought us food! We were on a 3 week cruise and this was the best of the 14 excursions we did. I wish we had more time in Sicily but would HIGHLY recommend this tour.
This is the second time we booked with Angelo. First time was as 2 families this time as a couple. Angelo was able to meet all of our requests making it so special for my partner who has a special birthday this year. We saw parts of the Island we didn’t see the first time. We also got to access parts of the island we would never have seen had we chosen to go with a tour bus due to the narrow roads. We had a guide with us this time also, Alex who was English speaking and amazing. Having local knowledge is the best. We got to eat the best Arancini balls on the island, along with sampling lemoncello, canolli, granita and brioche. From start to finish we had lots of laughs creating memories that will last forever. We never felt rushed at any of our stops and had confidence we would make it back in good time for our ship. After each stop Angelo would make sure the van was air conditioned keeping it cool as it was super hot as well as providing all the cold refreshments. We consider Angelo and Alex as family. If you want a fun excursion make sure and book with Angelo you will not be disappointed. Until next time my friend 💙
We had the most amazing day with Andrea who took us to Taormina, Castemola, and Isola Bella. He was a very safe driver along the windy roads of Sicily and brought a positive energy to the day! Andrea was patient, kind, knowledgeable and did all he could to make our day memorable. We could not asked for more exploring this beautiful place. Angelo and his guide Oleksandra are wonderful. The knowledge they shared was amazing and they were very accommodating to my limited mobility needs and adjusted the tour accordingly. We had a great time and would book them again.
