Översikt
Axe throwing in general is a huge and varied sport. As a result, it allows you to get a good feel for the various implements that can be thrown. We have a alrge range including small ninja axes, 2 styles of throwing knives, 2 styles of throwing torpedo’s, Bear Grills hunting axes, hammer head axes, fireman axes, 2 styles of tomahawk axes, ice pickaxes, and of course 2 styles of the large double handed axes available for you to master.
Your time on the range will be run as a have a go session. During this, you will get to try all of them out. If you have a particular interest and if discussed with the instructor on the day, you could possibly focus on one particular area. A competition will be held at the end to see who can stick 5 of their favorite axes in targets. This will get smaller as you progress.

Vad du får göra
På axelkastningsområdet "syftar vi" till att ge dig en mångfaldig och unik upplevelse. Vi har över tio individuella mål som ställts in för att ta standard Tomahawk-axlar för precision kastar hela vägen till tunga dubbelhöjda spartanska axlar för en mer krigare-känsla. Axelkastning i allmänhet är en enorm och varierad sport. Som ett resultat tillåter det att du får en god känsla för de olika redskapen som kan kastas. Vi har ett stort sortiment inklusive små ninjaxlar, 2 stilar med kastknivar, 2 stilar med torpedos, Bear Grills jaktaxlar, hammarhuvudaxlar, brandmanaxlar, 2 stilar tomahawkaxlar, ispaxar och naturligtvis 2 stilar i stora dubbla axlar som du kan behärska. Om aktiviteten Din tid på intervallet kommer att köras som en go-session. Under detta kommer du att prova dem alla. Om du har ett särskilt intresse och om det diskuteras med instruktören på dagen kan du möjligen fokusera på ett specifikt område. En tävling kommer att hållas i slutet för att se vem som kan fästa 5 av sina favoritaxlar i mål. Detta kommer att bli mindre när du fortskrider.

My girlfriend surprised me with axe throwing and air rifle shooting for a date day, had an amazing time especially with axes. The staff were great with us, encouraging and great at teaching us. I would encourage people to come by car if possible as its hard to get taxis out there to pick you up. I struggle with panic attacks when I feel trapped and upon realising it could be a struggle to get out I began to feel one coming on but the staff instantly came to reassure me and offered a lift into the village after where I could get a bus home from. Olly was great with the shooting, Nathan and his son showed me a lot with the axe throwing, and Nathan is the one who gave me a lift back out and checked I'm with me every now and again to make sure I was OK with getting out that way along with a bald gentleman whose name I didn't get who checked on me and reassured me too. All in all 11/10 experience and will be back.
Had an hour of axe throwing today. Great day, Nathan was keen to teach us the safety of each range first, but then just let us get on with it. As well as the hatchets, he showed us how to throw knives, tomahawks and a great big battle axe, then went round helping the group improve our techniques. They also do shooting and archery, and we could have happily stayed longer if they hadn't been fully booked. At the end of our session, Nathan was a total legend and gave us a lift to the local pub in the minibus. Would heartily recommend this activity centre to those who want to blow off a little steam and have some good laughs.
Brilliant, well worth a visit. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. The axe throwing was a lot of fun, so much so I want to do it again. Great facilities and good coffee.Definitely going back to try the other activities and do the axe throwing again. .
We went to Polowood to do axe throwing, but ended up doing clay pigeon shooting too. We would definitely recommend getting some cash out in case you want to do another activity on top of what you booked! George was our instructor for both and he is lovely! Just the sort of person you want as an instructor - you can tell he is passionate about what he does, he has a great sense of humour and is a real gentlemen. If you want to try something a bit different and get a bit competitive with your friends/family, we highly recommend Polowood. If we come back to the area, we’ll definitely be heading back to try the other activities! Thanks again George 😊

Such a cool, remarkable experience. When I was booking the event I wondered if one hour of throwing axes (and other things) could be that much fun…and YES it WAS! Nice people around who briefed us. Would definitely do it again.
This was such a fun activity to do and we had a great time. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcomed. Our instructor was so easy going and very knowledgeable. He explained how to do it really well whilst also giving us the freedom to just try it out. I will definitely be going back to try out more of the activities and would highly recommend to others to try out. Thanks for a great day out.
Had this gift as a present and didn’t expect to enjoy it that much. However, just had our session today with George and had such a great time. He was a brilliant coach and it was such fun. Would thoroughly recommend it and we are looking to book some activities for friends and family..
