Discover the sights and sounds of Inverness and the surrounding areas by bike with one of our tour guides. Our cool electric bikes do the work while you can enjoy the journey (you still have to pedal!). We lead you on a journey through parkland, besides the river, out to the sea and over some islands. During your journey we can stop at a café for refreshments and we visit historical and interesting sights around Inverness. We know the area as we live here. We can guide you and take the best routes. Our bikes are cool, fun to ride and help you as they have an electric motor which does a lot of the work. You still have to pedal though!

Inverness Castle ligt in het centrum van de stad en komt voor op onze ebike tour.

We reizen langs het kanaal door prachtig terrein bij Muirton Locks en uiteindelijk waar het kanaal de zee ontmoet met een prachtig uitzicht.

Merkinch Local Nature Reserve
Een deel van onze reis voert ons langs het natuurgebied over een verhoogd pad naast de zee met frisse lucht en grote luchten.

De Ness-eilanden zijn een prachtig gebied in het midden van de rivier de Ness. We passeren dit prachtige boomlandschap met behulp van een reeks bruggen en leren onderweg meer over de rivier.

Verzamelpunt & ophalen

Iedereen verzamelt bij het startpunt.

We ontmoeten elkaar aan de achterkant van de kathedraal van Inverness. Er is een parkeerplaats naast de deur. Wacht even bij een van de picknickbanken en onze gids ontmoet je daar. Je zult de fietsen zien!

Had a great ride with...

Had a great ride with Donald. He was friendly, professional and asked how we were doing along the journey (ensuring we continued to feel good/safe on the bikes). He had lots of knowledge/history to share about the various places we stopped. Although it did mist and rain much of the time, the ebikes felt sturdy. Be sure to have waterproof rain jacket (and pants/leggings you don’t mind getting splattered with mud from all the puddles which sometimes cannot be avoided). Some of us also had gloves that helped keep us warm/dry). I highly recommend this ebike adventure with Donald.

A Wonderful Way To Explore

This was a lovely ride around the waterways and Ness Islands just outside the city. Donald was a marvelous guide - very personable and so knowledgeable. We enjoyed our afternoon very much.

Fantastic BIKE tour

Amazing bike tour! Donald was fantastic. Great e-bikes and riding all along the river and beautiful scenery. Would highly reccomend this tour Great way to be outside , see beautiful scenery and hear interesting history

Donald was very informative!

Donald showed us how the e-bikes worked and gave us a nice tour of Edinburgh. There were only two of us so he was happy to answer all of our questions and personalize the tour for us.

See the nature surrounding the city of Inverness

Great way to view the beautiful scenic places around Inverness - the river islands, the nearby canals, the tidal estuary of Beauly Firth, and the iconic Kessock bridge. This was my first ebike experience, and Donald our group's guide made it so enjoyable. All directions were clearly communicated, and the trip was a nice balance of longer speedier rides along the stunning landscapes, and stops where background information and history were given, providing insight into current as well as past local history and life. Definitely recommend to visitors of Inverness!
