The Inverness Castle Experience
Inverness Castle is at the centre of the town and features on our ebike tour.

Caledonian Canal
We travel alongside the canal through beautiful terrain arrving at Muirton Locks and ultimately where the canal meets the sea with superb views.

Merkinch Local Nature Reserve
Part of our journey takes us along the nature reserve on an elevated path next to the sea with fresh air and big skies.

Ness Islands
The Ness Islands are a beautiful area in the centre of the River Ness. We pass through this wonderful tree-scape using a series of bridges and learning about the river as we go.

Had a great ride with Donald. He was friendly, professional and asked how we were doing along the journey (ensuring we continued to feel good/safe on the bikes). He had lots of knowledge/history to share about the various places we stopped. Although it did mist and rain much of the time, the ebikes felt sturdy. Be sure to have waterproof rain jacket (and pants/leggings you don’t mind getting splattered with mud from all the puddles which sometimes cannot be avoided). Some of us also had gloves that helped keep us warm/dry). I highly recommend this ebike adventure with Donald.
This was a lovely ride around the waterways and Ness Islands just outside the city. Donald was a marvelous guide - very personable and so knowledgeable. We enjoyed our afternoon very much.

Donald showed us how the e-bikes worked and gave us a nice tour of Edinburgh. There were only two of us so he was happy to answer all of our questions and personalize the tour for us.

Great way to view the beautiful scenic places around Inverness - the river islands, the nearby canals, the tidal estuary of Beauly Firth, and the iconic Kessock bridge. This was my first ebike experience, and Donald our group's guide made it so enjoyable. All directions were clearly communicated, and the trip was a nice balance of longer speedier rides along the stunning landscapes, and stops where background information and history were given, providing insight into current as well as past local history and life. Definitely recommend to visitors of Inverness!
