   Eagle Square

   The icon of Langkawi, Eagle Square or locally known as Dataran Lang is the home for Langkawi’s giant statue of an eagle which according to old folklore where Langkawi get its name from : The two Malay words – ‘helang’ (eagle) and ‘kawi’ (reddish brown): hence lang-kawi. Perched 12 meters above the star shaped concrete deck overlooking the Kuah Jetty, the eagle is always a welcoming icon for every traveller coming into Langkawi. Visitors can get up close to the base of the statue for their holiday photo. Since the square is open to public almost all the times, you can snap all the pictures you want!

   Durian Perangin Waterfall

   You can always ask your driver how to get here by an amazing ATV fun ride .Durian Perangin Waterfall, nestled on the northeastern side of Langkawi, named after the durian trees that thrive in the nearby forests and the cooling breeze. This multi-tiered waterfall cascades down the slopes of Gunung Raya, Langkawi’s highest peak, forming freshwater pools at each tier. Surrounded by dense forest and fascinating rock formations, the area is a serene retreat for nature lovers.    Langkawi Craft Complex

   Langkawi Craft Complex is one of the major tourist destinations in Langkawi Island. It is one-stop centre that serves a variety of authentic craft products such as batik, hand woven cloth, fibre plaited, metals and other crafts.    Hovering over jungle and climbing over 550 million years old rock, SkyCab gives you more than one unique experience.    Langkawi Sky Bridge

   Measuring at 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curve suspension bridge and constructing it was not an easy feat as the solutions had to factor the following critical elements; structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of bridge and on site installation. The entire bridge, in all its elements had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled to its current position.
