   Eagle Square

   The icon of Langkawi, Eagle Square or locally known as Dataran Lang is the home for Langkawi’s giant statue of an eagle which according to old folklore where Langkawi get its name from : The two Malay words – ‘helang’ (eagle) and ‘kawi’ (reddish brown): hence lang-kawi. Perched 12 meters above the star shaped concrete deck overlooking the Kuah Jetty, the eagle is always a welcoming icon for every traveller coming into Langkawi. Visitors can get up close to the base of the statue for their holiday photo. Since the square is open to public almost all the times, you can snap all the pictures you want!

   Durian Perangin Waterfall

   You can always ask your driver how to get here by an amazing ATV fun ride .Durian Perangin Waterfall, nestled on the northeastern side of Langkawi, named after the durian trees that thrive in the nearby forests and the cooling breeze. This multi-tiered waterfall cascades down the slopes of Gunung Raya, Langkawi’s highest peak, forming freshwater pools at each tier. Surrounded by dense forest and fascinating rock formations, the area is a serene retreat for nature lovers. The cool, refreshing waters make it a favorite spot for locals seeking picnics or a quiet escape. The hike to the waterfall’s crest is challenging but achievable, rewarding climbers with stunning views of the valley and coastline.    Tanjung Rhu Beach

   Langkawi Craft Complex

   Langkawi Craft Complex is one of the major tourist destinations in Langkawi Island. It is one-stop centre that serves a variety of authentic craft products such as batik, hand woven cloth, fibre plaited, metals and other crafts. Visit Craft complex, which provide many interesting activities such as craft sales, craft demonstrations, educational crafts, cultural performance and guide tours.    Hovering over jungle and climbing over 550 million years old rock, SkyCab gives you more than one unique experience. Be informed, SkyCab is located at the oldest part of South East Asia and the first to emerge from the ancient sea and estuary! That’s something to give a goose bump if you can get the gist. Come and experience it yourself. The Base Station is conveniently located at the foothill of the Machincang mountain. From here, visitors will be taken up to the cool Machincang mountain via the cable car system. The ride will be an exhilarating experience for everyone to enjoy.    Langkawi Sky Bridge

   Measuring at 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curve suspension bridge and constructing it was not an easy feat as the solutions had to factor the following critical elements; structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of bridge and on site installation. The entire bridge, in all its elements had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled to its current position.
