Putu's kitchen is simple, with only a two-burner cooktop but you will be impressed by the speed and fluidity with which she prepares a complex menu with multiple dishes. You will taste a variety of authentic dishes with potential ones being Putu’s grilled eggplant with tomato, grilled fish with Balinese sambal (chili sauce), a curry dish (either chicken, fish or vegetarian) or perhaps a variety of pepes (foods seasoned with local spices, wrapped in banana leaves and steamed). You can expect the cooking lesson to last about 1-2 hours before you sit down and enjoy the delicious meal you helped prepare with your host and her family.

緑豊かな庭園とトロピカルな果樹園に囲まれた先祖代々の村ウブドで、プライベートで体験できるバリ料理教室をプトゥさんのホームキッチンで開いています。 多世代にわたる彼女の家族に温かく迎えられてから、自身の農場で収穫された新鮮な食材を使った本格的な料理を5品一緒に作ります。 刻んだり、挽いたり、焼いたりするうちに、プトゥは家族のレシピや、彼女が使う活気に満ちたスパイス、そしてバリの伝統食材の癒しの特性など、そのほとんどが自分の農場から直送されたエピソードをシェアしてくれるでしょう。 彼女のキッチンは2バーナーの調理台だけというシンプルなものかもしれませんが、複雑な味に命を吹き込むその手軽さと気品には驚かされます。 お食事には、米農家であるプトゥさんの祖父母が栽培した、彼らの家族の自家栽培米が添えられます。 プトゥは料理以外にも、ヒンドゥー教や現地の生活について温かい洞察を提供し、そのすべてが素晴らしいユーモアのセンスで、体験を有意義＆楽しいものにしてくれます。 クラスは約1時間半で、最後には準備してきたものをみんなでシェアして食事します。 バリの文化や料理とのより深いつながりを求める食好きや好奇心旺盛な旅行者、お子様連れのご家族に最適です。

We had a wonderful experience learning traditional Balinese cooking at Putu’s house. Incredibly welcoming and organised hostess. Great lesson in traditional ingredients and cooking utensils. Thank you for having us in your house and teaching us such delicious recipes
Puts was awesome! We made 5 different dishes, all hands on. Very fun and tasty. You can choose you.level of heat and add more or.less to the next dish as you sample each one as it's cooled. Putu also had options for.making the dishes vegan. Highly recommend.

Teacher Putu’s Balinese cooking class was an absolute highlight of our girls' trip! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptionally organized, warm, and welcoming. Putu gave us a wonderful, hands-on crash course into authentic Balinese cooking and the rich culture behind every traditional dish. Her instructions were clear, engaging, and so easy to follow, making the entire experience both educational and tons of fun. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the final feast we prepared together was delicious beyond expectations. We had such a memorable time bonding over amazing food and incredible hospitality. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Bali!

Brilliant morning. Putu was an excellent teacher, explaining what we had to do and why. The location is lovely, out in the countryside at a beautiful house. My kids, (14 and 16) and I all got to prepare different elements and cook different things. The final results tasted excellent and we are already planning to make the recipes again when we get home. The only problem was that we made too much.
