Our coaching team of fully insured and experienced instructors tailor tuition to your individual ability. Having been in-house trained by former European Number 1 and British Team Bodyboarding Coach Rob Barber, you really couldn’t be in safer hands when bodyboarding in Cornwall.

Cosa farai
Le bodyboard sono più piccole e leggere delle tavole da surf; questo significa che sono generalmente più facili da manovrare e più veloci da imparare. Ti insegneremo come remare, trimmare correttamente e come selezionare il giusto tipo di onde per le tue capacità. Il bodyboarding crea dipendenza da imparare a causa dei primi obiettivi che vengono rapidamente raggiunti. La curva di apprendimento iniziale del bodyboard sale alle stelle in modo esponenziale con una solida pratica e tempo in acqua. I spoke with a great guy on the phone when I rang to ask about a bodyboard lesson. I explained I had recently lost my husband and I was treated with the utmost compassion & kindness. I booked & paid over the phone for my sister in law & myself for a taster lesson. We were met at the centre by our instructor James, who provided wetsuits, fins & bodyboards. We were shown to the changing room which was clean & after storing our valuables in the lock box, we headed down to the surf. James explained about safety in the water and how to protect your head if a collision with another surfer or surfboard was imminent. Thankfully we didn't need to test that one! We were shown hand signals by James that instructed us on what he needed us to do, when we were in the water. James was a very professional instructor. Very knowledgeable. Funny, warm and obviously an expert in the water. He was approachable, positive encouraging and very patient. I cannot thank him enough for making our taster lesson such fun. I can highly recommend this centre, the staff and especially James our instructor and yes I will be booking again with Newquay Activity Centre. Excellent, 5*. The whole experience was enjoyable.
Booked a group lesson but as I was the only participant I had a one to one lesson. My instructor Jake, sorry if I got your name wrong, was great.
My 15 year old daughter had a private bodyboarding lesson. The lady instructor was simply fantastic. She was super helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. Not only did my daughter’s bodyboarding skills improve, her knowledge of the sea and the tides, and safety around the sea did too. We will definitely return for another private lesson. Thank you!!
Taster session for our 12 year old son! He loved the lesson with James. Great experience and lovely friendly staff members .
Had a family bodyboard experience for myself and my two daughters aged 11 and 13. Our instructor George was fantastic and made it a really enjoyable experience - as we were all new to bodyboarding and not particularly strong swimmers, the session was designed to our ability and pitched at just the right level. My daughters said this was the highlight of their holiday. Would highly recommend this.
The instructor good to take cares my family, not only enjoy the bodyboarding, but also help to take some nice photos and bring us good memories.
Rudy was our guide and instructor for a family bodyboarding session. It was well worth the money as he could help us all individually as needed. He was excellent- friendly and very patient! He told us about the local area, explained how to bodyboard clearly and was clear about safety rules. We were a family of 45+ mum, 19 y old and 13 y old and we all loved the experience. We are inspired to go again during our holiday. The centre is well located near cool surf shops and although facilities are simple it has all you need to get changed and showered etc. All instructors were so friendly. Special shout to Rudy though as he really was very patient and helped us all learn to catch waves by the end of the session
The girls had instructor Heath who was great, both girls were mixed ability and was great for them, great price, great service would return again
