Dopo aver ammirato l'albero nazionale degli Emirati, l'albero Ghaf, ci avventuriamo in un antico letto di fiume dove vediamo come il cambiamento climatico ha modellato il paesaggio, come la vita vegetale si è adattata e come i fossili possono ancora essere trovati nelle antiche rocce calcaree in mezzo al deserto. Incontri intimi con i cammelli sono molto probabili!

Al Madam
Il viaggio prosegue verso est lungo una vasta pianura alluvionale punteggiata di alberi di acacia che ricordano la savana africana. Impariamo come antichi fiumi hanno trasportato la roccia vulcanica dall'Hajar per formare resti ancora visibili delle sponde del fiume. Più incontri con i cammelli sono assicurati qui e, se siamo fortunati, avvisteremo alcuni asini selvaggi!

Attraversa il magnifico wadi Showkah e fai una sosta per un picnic in una lussureggiante fattoria tropicale. Guarda il sistema di irrigazione falaj e goditi un momento di puro relax nella natura. Chi lo desidera può fare una passeggiata di 1-2 km attraverso il letto del wadi. Guarda le antiche rovine che testimoniano un'epoca ormai lontana. Alla fine del wadi torniamo in autostrada e a Dubai

We participated in the Journey to the Heart of the Emirates. It was a fantastic journey, great professionalism in the planning of the trip, day planning was very well balanced with options to stop during the trip whenever was best for us. We visited a mint farm and date plantation where we got some fresh mint for the after lunch tea break! Great! We got excellent explanation about all of the different landscapes, from the Hajar Mountains, the similar African Savannah landscape, wadi visit and a great picnic at a tropical fruit and date farm! Koen was a fantastic guide and we have enjoyed every single minute of our day-trip! Thanks for the great experience, one to recommend!
My husband and I booked Unveil Arabia for two days of private tours. The first was to Abu Dhabi and the other was their Heart of the emirates tour. We could not have been happier! From the zoom call we had in advance of our trip, to the communication after we had arrived in Dubai, this team of professionals were so great! They listened to our interests and planned tours which were customized to our desires. In particular, I wanted to interact with camels, but didn’t want to RIDE a camel (as I believe the ridden camels are often overworked and not treated well). Unveil Arabia arranged a wonderful visit to a camel farm where they were well-treated, friendly and healthy. This is just one example of the curated tour experience they will coordinate for you. Lastly, they helped arrange a dinner reservation for us to experience Dubai Fountain show, and we had the best seat in the house! You will not find a better, or more thorough tour company. Book Unveil Arabia, you will be glad you did!
We took a full day journey to the Heart of the Emirates.Not self drive...but guided by Patrice. We spent a wonderful day,discovering desert ,mointains ans wahdi with all the explanations we needed,given by Patrice.

A fantastic trip to the heart of the Emirates. A must when you’re staying in Dubai. Konrad is a very knowledgable and friendly guide and ready to answer all our questions. We enjoyed immensely visiting the desert, mountains and local farms and can highly recommend this adventure.
Salue is a great guide, who can explain everything about the beauty of Dubai (and the Middle-East). Enjoyed my trip and will definitely come back!
Joined the trip based on recommendations from other friends who had attended this earlier. Salua @ Unveil Arabia has a passion for what she does and hence goes the extra mile to not only take you through the journey but along the way get you in touch with the authentic Arabia - be it the landscape, flora and fauna or traditional culture and people. All you do the whole day is make memories from the journey! Very well done Salua!!
Our family loved going off the beaten path on this tour of the UAE! Salua and Konrad have created a totally different experience of this region, and it's a fantastic opportunity to learn about the geology and culture of the various Emirates. They are very knowledgeable and take you to places you wouldn't typically go. They also paid attention to all the details to keep us feeling safe and comfortable (even within a larger group of a few families/couples) both in terms of Covid precautions and making sure we had good food and rest stops. I'm looking forward to more Unveil Arabia experiences so we can learn and enjoy more!
