Vergisson
Wir fahren über kleine Landstraßen zu einem malerischen Dorf, das zwischen zwei Hügeln versteckt liegt, um dort ein Weingut zu besuchen und einen recht guten Weißwein zu probieren. Die Idee ist, Ihnen ein Weingut zu zeigen, nachdem Sie die Weinrebe gesehen haben.

La Roche de Solutre
Dieser Hügel hat eine ziemliche Geschichte, die ältesten Spuren menschlicher Präsenz stammen aus prähistorischer Zeit und seine jüngste Geschichte geht auf den französischen Präsidenten in den 80er Jahren zurück, der jedes Jahr den Hügel hinaufstieg, um dem französischen Widerstand im Zweiten Weltkrieg seinen Respekt zu erweisen. Wir können dort hinaufgehen, wenn Sie dazu bereit sind, es ist ein einfacher 40-minütiger Spaziergang in langsamem Tempo.

Dieses Dorf ist wahrscheinlich das berühmteste auf der heutigen Tour. Wir erzählen Ihnen von einem echten Druiden, der hier lebt, von dieser einzigartigen Persönlichkeit und dem Wein, den er anbaut. Wir werden auch anhalten, um mit Hilfe eines Profis verschiedene Weine der Region zu verkosten.

Bei unserem letzten Halt besuchen wir ein Weingut, das von einem jungen Paar geführt wird, das die neue Winzergeneration repräsentiert. Sie geben uns eine Kostprobe ihrer Weine aus dem Mâconnais (Bourgogne) und dem Beaujolais und teilen mit uns ihre Ansichten zu neuen Techniken und Trends.

This was such a wonderful way to spend half the day, seeing parts of the area that you wouldn't always see! Benoit was knowledgeable, kind, and is very clearly passionate about wine, winemaking, and what is available in the region. We were visiting the area just after harvest so there were many wineries closed but Benoit was still able to provide us with an experience that reflected winemaking history and process. I couldn't recommend this experience enough and Benoit as your guide!
We had a fabulous afternoon with Clémence and the vintage land rover. We are not familiar with the area and because Clemence contacted us beforehand she tailored the trip beautifully to show us the local terroirs and landscape. The wineries we visited were well chosen with charming hosts (a special mention for Sophie), and generous tastings. I would thoroughly recommend.
We had an amazing day with Melanie, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She also did a fabulous job of driving us around in the awesome vintage Land Rover.
Ben was a great guide! My husband and I did this tour as part of our honeymoon. They booked our train tickets to get from where we were staying and picked us up at the station. We learned so much about wine, wine making, and the region! The winery owners were also very kind and welcoming. Good wine, good cheese, good people, good time!
Best wine tour ever! Benoit tailored the day around our wine preferences and experience with wines. We visited only two wineries due to the heat, but the touring, tasting, and learning about their histories was fascinating. The time flew! Benoit’s knowledge of the region and his relationship with the wineries made for a truly unique experience. Things to note: The vintage ragtop, open air Range Rover was fun. Bring a bag or backpack to carry wine on the train because you will want to buy some. The train tickets are purchased for you. We took a taxi to the station, but Benoit was on the platform when we arrived and took us inside the station when we left to make sure we knew which train to take. Private means private. Just my friend and I on the tour. This wine tour was a highlight of our trip to Lyon.
This was one of the highlights of our time in France! Exploring the beautiful Burgundy countryside in a vintage Land Rover made the experience feel truly unique from the very beginning. Our guide Elodie was warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about the region, sharing interesting history about the villages, vineyards, and winemaking traditions along the way. We loved visiting the two small family-owned wineries, where we enjoyed excellent tastings in a relaxed, authentic setting. It felt personal rather than commercial, which made it even more memorable. Another great feature of using this company is that they will organize any wine purchases you would like to make, including shipping back to the US. So you can buy what you like, and not have to worry about packing and shipping, or checking in your luggage! The half-day tour was the perfect length and offered a wonderful mix of scenic views, local history, and fantastic wines. If you're looking for a more intimate Burgundy wine experience with a little adventure mixed in, don't hesitate to book this tour. We would absolutely do it again!

We had an amazing experience on our half day wine tour in the Beaujolais region of France. Our driver picked us up from our hotel and provided a smooth ride to and from the experience. Our tour guide, Amélie, was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. She brought us to two different wineries for tastings, as well as a butcher shop to taste traditional French foods. We loved our experience and highly recommend!
