Castello Aragonese
The Aragonese Castle is a fortification that stands on a tidal island of trachytic rock located on the eastern side of the island of Ischia, connected by a 220 m long masonry bridge to the ancient village of Celsa, known as Ischia Ponte. The islet on which the castle was built derives from a synaptic eruption that occurred over 300,000 years ago. It reaches a height of 113 meters above sea level and covers an area of approximately 56,000 m². Geologically it is a bubble of magma that has consolidated during eruptive phenomena and is defined as a "stagnation dome".

I was recommended to organise a private tour with Ascanio Charter Boat And Yachts in Ischia from two separate friends in Australia. My partner and I had a wonderful day, Nunzio took the greatest care of us. Highly recommend this to others - the money is worth it!! You get to see the entire island from a beautiful boat. I booked this experience for my 30th birthday and Carmine went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable birthday. He took us all around the island and we stopped at multiple swimming spots only accessible by boat. A color of water so blue it looked unreal. He also took us to a remote restaurant by the water with the most beautiful views. We had such an amazing time on this tour and a million thank you once again to Carmine for making my birthday so special. We will 100% be doing this again when we return to Ischia.
This private boat tour did not disappoint. We say all of the scenic parts of the island and Carmine took us to beautiful swim spots.
Nunzio was a wonderful guide with easy pick up and drop off. He took us around, sharing interesting facts along the way. Great opportunities to swim along the way and see the caves. Wonderful hidden gem of a lunch stop, too. We also engaged Nunzio to take us for a sunset ride and to and from the Naples Airport. Excellent service!

We had an amazing experience on this tour to Capri and Ischia! Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the itinerary gave us the perfect amount of time to explore both islands. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions. Transportation was smooth, and the whole day felt relaxed despite visiting two beautiful destinations. Capri was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and charming streets, while Ischia had a more authentic and peaceful atmosphere that we really loved. We enjoyed every moment of the trip and felt that it was a great value for the experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Naples area. Such an amazing private tour of the island of Ischia! We had such a great time learning about the island, snorkeling, swimming and enjoying Prosecco on the deck.
