Half Day Rioja Wine Tour

Amazing tour with the visit of two local bodegas

Our day in Rioja with Rioja Like a Native was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We participated in several tours during our travels, but this one stood apart in a way that’s hard to fully describe. The entire day felt thoughtfully crafted, with a level of care and intention that you don’t often come across. It never felt generic, it felt immersive, personal, and genuinely unique. This is truly a wine tour in every sense. You visit traditional Rioja bodegas and enjoy a sufficient amount of wine throughout the experience. At the same time, it goes far beyond just tastings. Each stop felt purposeful, and every person we met contributed to a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel completely at ease. There was a natural flow to the day that made everything feel effortless, while still being incredibly well-organized behind the scenes. Rebeca was also incredibly communicative and warm from start to finish, which made the entire planning process seamless and reassuring. Even now, after returning home to San Diego, we find ourselves reflecting on how special the experience was. If you're unsure about doing it, don't be! It's very much worth it.

My husband and I visited Rioja in November and by the time I reached out all of the "official" tours were booked, but Rebeca recommended reaching out to Jose, who was excellent! He was extremely responsive and knowledgable about the wineries/area as he drove us around. He also helped us refine where to visit, adding in a fantastic stop that wasn't originally on our radar.
