The local provider did not show up the morning of pick up. I had tried to contact them the night before, with no response. I shared the lack of contact with Viator. It is difficult to find a person to speak with, when something like this happens. I hope that Viator ensures a refund.
What a great experience. Not to be missed. Left just before sunrise. Beautiful scenery and perfect weather. Our pilot made an impressive pinpoint landing of a flat bed trailer.
Worse experience for the money. The ad is not true. They take you 30 minutes over a valley of NOTHING TO SEE. At a long distance you can see the other balloons over the “Fairy Chimneys” which is what you really come to see. Well they will charge you to see a field for 30 minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BALLOON RIDE!!!
We had a picturesque spectacular view while having our local traditional Turkish breakfast. It was bountiful appetizing fresh and nutritious food with Turkish delight as desserts. @meg_enes was our guide and at the same time our professional photographer. Our expectations were met and will definitely come back again and share the same experience to our friends neighbors colleagues and in social media.
An amazing experience. One off my bucket list. So memorable would recommend to everyone visiting here
We were under the impression that this was in Goreme and that we would be flying with all the other balloons and over the fairy towers which would be part of the experience. We did not. We were in a complete other area with only two other balloons nearby.
Unfortunately/fortunately we didn’t get on. We were collected at 3:50am. Weather seemed ok. As we got closer we saw the balloons up in the air. So graceful. That day we were turned away. Unfortunately a pilot was injured & all flights were cancelled thereafter. Grateful for safety first. Still waiting for my refund.
We departed after sunrise, last ballon up and first down. We also were flying quite far from all the others ballons so we guess we did not see the main sights.
