In this experience, the emergence of glass and its development up to modern times are introduced, along with the history of the Turkish mosaic lamp and its place in Turkish cultural heritage. The lamp-making process is then demonstrated step by step in its simplest form by a master guide, both theoretically and practically. Participants begin by selecting motifs and colors, creating their own designs, applying the design onto the glass, and completing the lamp through the grouting process. In the final stage, the design and the lamp are checked by the master guide; the bulb and stand are installed and the lamp is lit. After the drying process, the lamp is securely packaged for safe transport.

A wonderful and unique experience! Don't miss it!
So nice experience. Making a Turkish lamp is so interesting.
Amazing workshop to make your own personalised Turkish lamp. It is a family owned business. They provided all the materials and gave us the time and help we needed to finish our lamps! 100% recommend this experience if you are in Goreme and have 2-3 hours on your hand.
We had a wonderful time making our mosaic lamps. The activity was fun, well organized, and a great experience from start to finish. The instructor was very kind, patient, and attentive, making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the process. There were plenty of color choices and shapes to choose from. We would highly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
This is a great experience to make your own Turkish lamps with Ahmet who is a master of the craft. He is very welcoming and provides free refreshments. At no point did we feel rushed and he let us stay for over the 2 hrs that it said on the listing so we could finish our lamps. The materials are high quality and the price includes the lamp you make plus packaging for your suitcase. There are options to upgrade your lamp for around €12 such as a different stand or size of lamp, but the base one is very good as well.
Loved this experience! Ahmet was very patient and provided nice instructions on each step on how to make these mosaic lamps. Would recommend!
Incredible experience and you leave with your own authentic turkish lamp! Great for solo travelers or a rainy day activity, the instructor is also very helpful and a lot of fun!
Excellent tutor, who gave clear and helpful instructions. Always on hand to answer questions and give guidance. Good quality products used during the 2 hour class. Refreshments offered throughout. At the conclusion, you are able to take home a fully working lamp and a complimentary pottery expresso cup & saucer, all included in the price
