We focus on small groups! Nobody that does this for the first time wants to be put in a large group together with other people that he or she doesn't know. There is no time limit or rush in your training. Your instructor will not push or force you into something. Its all about the fun and about you feeling safe and secure.
Diving in Amed is especially for beginners and easy and wonderful thing, as you can see so much beauty in just a few meters underwater.

Try diving for the first time without doing the whole way of a certification. Prerequisites: Able to swim, Medically fit for diving, Minimum age: 10 years or older Time: ½ day If you’re interested in scuba diving, but unsure if you want to enroll in a scuba certification class, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to test the waters. In a very short time, you’ll learn basic scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater. We will fit you with scuba gear and one of our professional PADI instructors will explain how to use it. You’ll practice basic diving skills in one of our protected bays with pool-like conditions followed by a guided open water dive on our beautiful shallow reefs. This first dive can be followed by a second dive just for your fun and joy if you liked it. (Our recommendation) If you are a little bit scared we can also start your experience with a practice lesson in one of our resort pools to make you feel more comfortable before we go into the ocean. We provide free pickup and drop from and to hotels ONLY in the Amed area. For other locations around Bali we can offer you to arrange a private driver for additional cost. You will be picked up in the morning and first brought to our dive center in Lipah Beach where your experience starts. We will communicate an exact pickup time to you via whatsapp, telegram or signal.

We had an unforgettable experience with Divers White Sand in Amed! We did two amazing dives and felt supported, safe, and truly looked after every step of the way. A huge thank you to our guide Roda, who was absolutely fantastic – incredibly kind, professional, and full of contagious enthusiasm. He also took lots of amazing videos of our dives that we’ll treasure as special memories. We’d also like to warmly thank Kadek, who kindly helped us download all the photos from the GoPro we rented – super helpful and patient! A big shoutout to the entire team at Divers White Sand for their passion, friendliness, and great energy. We would dive with you again a thousand times over! My partner and I dove with Coco today. I have previous dive experience (very little!) and my last dive was 15 years ago! This was my partners’ first dive, although he is a snorkeler. Coco was very patient and kind and took great care to explain everything to us. In the water, his eye was always on us and the fish, pointing out all the beautiful things the sea had to offer. Unfortunately, after my first dive I got super nauseated….Coco gave some tea and place to sit, while he and my partner returned to the sea. Would highly recommend this crew, they are experienced and attentive to safety and kind. PS: loved the funny looking razor fish!
I would like to say thank you to the best instructor I’ve had. Pierre is fantastic, his knowledge is amazing. This was my very first dive, we did introdive at WSD, which turned to fundive, because he said I was talented and good enough 🤗 we visited Jemeluk wall and Lipah bay. In many dive centers, introdives are just 20 minutes on a sandy bottom in front of the shop, but he saw potential in me and provided safe atmosphere to try my best. We saw so many species of fish, even turtle 😍 I regret not completing my open water certificate with them, but I was running out of money and time. See you next time, I definitely go back!🤗
I had a great time with Amed White sand divers! Never tried diving before but i went with Sasa, who made me feel safe and was great at guiding me through the experince! It was incredible. It was a beautiful dive and I really enjoyed having Sasa as my instructor. I would definitely recommend going here!
I had an amazing experience at this dive center! The prices were reasonable, the staff was fantastic, and they went above and beyond to fulfill my request. I really wanted to see turtles, and they made sure my wish came true. We headed to the spot with the highest probability of encountering them. Everything was handled with professionalism and care. I highly recommend this dive center to anyone looking for a memorable underwater adventure.
White Sand Divers were a pleasure to dive with during my time in Amed. Everything was so easy, pickup/drop off to hotel or restaurant was never a problem, good quality scuba gear, knowledgeable guides with great english(as well as other. Languages), and most importantly the diving was fantastic. They have a huge range of dives available, all within a short drive, and having our own private guide as a couple meant we could choose our dive spot, and dive how we wanted, at our own pace. There are many dive shops to choose from in Amed, but this is the only one owned by locals to the town, and will be my first choice next time I return.
Amazing dive at Liberty wreck and Drop off. Nyoman = best dive instructor ever. Team super helpful and friendly. Very good value for money. Reefs in super condition with alot of sea life. Sooo many different types of fish. Would certainly recommend.
