San Sebastian Lunch Time Pintxo Tour with Wine

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the Pintxos tour. Our guide Jon chose the food to suit our taste, and gave us lots of information about the pintxos and the wines, and even the local history. A very enjoyable experience and we would highly recommend!

We had an amazing Pintxos tour with Kai!! We learned a lot about the local cuisine and Basque culture. Kai was super fun and navigated our preferences/ allergies seamlessly. This tour was fantastic! Our guide Vero was charming and kind and very knowledgeable. Every dish we tried was different, interesting, and among the very best food we’ve ever eaten. Wine portions were generous, and there was a delicious cider option for our family member who doesn’t drink wine. Highly recommend!!

Our experience with Mimo was one of the highlights of our trip. The star of the day was Chef Mikel Martija. His passion for Basque food and culture was contagious, and he managed to be incredibly knowledgeable while also being absolutely hilarious. We learned a tremendous amount, but it never felt like a lecture. Instead, it felt like spending the afternoon cooking with a talented friend who loves sharing his region with visitors. The class was hands-on, engaging, and packed with useful techniques and cultural insights. Beyond the recipes themselves, we left with a deeper appreciation for why food is such an important part of Basque identity. If you’re debating whether a cooking class is worth the time while visiting San Sebastián, book this one. We came away with great memories, new skills, and plenty of laughs.
