Mardin was in my bucket list for a long time and I contacted the agency where Muhsin was my guide, he speaks great English and it's very knowledgeable of the regions History, we went to Gobekli Tepe, Diyarbakir, sanlu orfa. He is also superfun and a great photographer, i totally recommend him.
Mr Serkan took us on a very enriching, educational and fulfilling experience of a lifetime in Mardin. His vast comprehensive knowledge of each place we visited complemented his warm, friendly yet professional demeanour. He took great patience with us all the way. The rainy weather was the only dampener yesterday. It was truly what I envisaged of this tour as I learnt about Mesopotamia at school eons ago. And yesterday, it ALL CAME ALIVE! Credit goes to Mr Serkan and not forgetting the very excellent and comfortable driving by Mr Hassan. Would do it again.
What an amazing experience we’ve had in Mardin and the region. I would say apart from the scenic views and such rich history the main reason for the slender was also our 2 days of touring with Muhsin. Cannot express our gratitude for the knowledge and the sincere hospitality to our group. We were 3 couples traveling far from home, Miami Florida US and did not know what to expect.. but can I say without a doubt the south of Turkey is a beauty and rich in culture.
