Shiraito Falls
Shiraito Falls is one of the most iconic waterfall views in the Mt. Fuji area. Thin streams of spring water flow gently over a wide rock wall, creating a soft curtain-like landscape unique to Mt. Fuji’s underground water system. The area is lively and popular, but the natural beauty is always worth seeing.

A small local waterfall often missed by visitors. Unlike Shiraito Falls, this spot has a relaxed and natural atmosphere, and in summer you can cool your feet in the clear spring water. It’s a peaceful place to enjoy Mt. Fuji’s fresh water up close.

Lake Tanuki
A quiet lakeside with beautiful Mt. Fuji views. On calm mornings, the surface reflects the mountain like a mirror, and with a bit of luck you may see the double-Fuji reflection. If you prefer, we can enjoy a short lakeside cycling section here.

Hitoana Fujiko Ruins
A historic site connected to the Fuji-ko faith. The area is calm and surrounded by nature, and from here we can walk to a natural lava cave hidden from regular tourists. It offers a rare chance to feel the volcanic history of Mt. Fuji.

Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine
The head shrine of over 1,300 Sengen shrines across Japan. It features the crystal-clear Wakutama Pond, fed directly by Mt. Fuji’s underground spring water. A meaningful cultural stop where you can learn about the traditions connected to Mt. Fuji.

The standard meeting points are Shimizu Port or Shin-Fuji Station. Complimentary pickup is also available within Fujinomiya City and Fuji City upon request. For travelers coming from the Tokyo area, taking the Shinkansen is the most convenient option. Shin-Fuji Station can be reached in about one hour from Tokyo Station. Pickup and drop-off are provided free of charge within the listed areas. The tour price does not change based on the pickup location or number of guests.

A great tour with two really knowledgable and welcoming tour guides. Visibility was poo but it was still a brilliant tour seeing some of the best Bauer spots around Mount Fuji. Both speak really good English, warm and friendly with a huge comfortable van as your transport. If you’re looking for the perfect guides, then book these!
Our family of six had an absolutely incredible time on the "Mount Fuji: God of Fire and Water" tour. We arrived at Shimizu Port on the Diamond Princess, and from the moment we met our guide, Tetsuya, we knew we were in great hands. He was exceptional—knowledgeable, accommodating, and deeply passionate about the region. Tetsuya guided my parents-in-law, my wife, the kids, and I to some truly breathtaking and peaceful locations. Standing together on the wooden pier at Lake Tanuki, watching the mist roll in with Fuji-san in the background, felt incredibly sacred and gave us memories we will cherish forever. He also took us to the magnificent Shiraito Falls, which was just as purifying and majestic. Tetsuya went out of his way to make sure we captured beautiful family photos at every single stop. If you are docking in Shimizu and want a deeply meaningful, perfectly organized tour of Mount Fuji, I cannot recommend Tetsuya and this Viator experience enough. A flawless five-star day at the God of the Fire & water - Mount Fuji.
An absolutely amazing day. The tour guide was very kind and was able to tell us all about the history and interesting facts about the sights we saw. He went over and above, we had spare time so he fitted another sight for us to see. Highly recommend. Would love to visit Japan again some day!
So everything about this tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide really did look after us a million percent. Nothing was to much trouble. Wasn’t sure what to expect. But was a fantastic day out. It’s hard to know what to write as was all brilliantly worked out each step of the tour. The cave bit was my favourite. Also lunch in cafe was amazing. Worth every penny, in fact was probably to cheap. They should charge more!!
