   Kilim Geoforest Park

   A place with an ancient geological heritage, countless natural wonders, home to a myriad of flora and fauna, and a vibrant local community of Kilim Village.Kilim Geoforest Park (or Kilim Karst Geoforest Park as its full name) is one of the three geoforest parks associated with the Langkawi Geopark. The other two are the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park and The Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park. Langkawi Geopark comprises the whole of Langkawi Island, which is one of the districts of Kedah State, Malaysia. Langkawi started as a fishing village until its revelation as a UNESCO Geopark. Langkawi was endorsed as the 52nd Global Geopark by UNESCO on 1st June 2007, making it the 1st geopark in Malaysia and the South East Asia region. This endorsement was given due to its significant geoheritage features like landscapes, caves sea arches and sea stacks, dropstones, fossil and local community involvement.

   Black Sand Beach

   Black Sand Beach Langkawi, located four kilometres southwest of Tanjung Rhu Beach, offers memorable photo opportunities and a peaceful retreat from the island’s often crowded areas.Despite its name, the beach is actually a mix of black and white sand, which some locals believe to be the result of a centuries-old curse laid by a mermaid because a fisherman had stolen her ring. Others claim that it’s soil from the rice paddy fields that were burned by farmers back in 1821.

   Oriental Village

   It is a themed open-air complex with a huge lake in the centre and an art gallery, animal exhibits, clothes, souvenir and handicraft stores spread out around it plus a few local and international restaurants.

   SkyCab gives you more than one unique experience. Be informed, SkyCab is located at the oldest part of South East Asia and the first to emerge from the ancient sea and estuary! That’s something to give a goose bump if you can get the gist.Accessible by cable car, the bridge is the longest free span and curved bridge in the world. It swings out over the landscape to give visitors a unique spatial experience, and to bring them into otherwise unattainable locations, above virgin jungle with spectacular views. Notably, in contrast to a straight bridge, where the end is always monotonously in sight, a curved bridge offers spectacularly changing perspective that reinvent themselves, as one proceeds along it.
