Mevlana Muzesi
For Muslims and non-Muslims alike, the main reason to come to Konya is to visit the Mevlâna Museum, the former lodge of the whirling dervishes and home to the tomb of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi who lived in 13th century. This is the biggest Sufi centre in Turkey, and the building's fluted dome of turquoise tiles is one of Turkey's most distinctive sights.

Alaeddin Mosque
The Alaeddin Mosque is one of the oldest mosque in Turkey, constructed by the Seljuk Sultans of Rum between 1116-1220. Alaeddin Mosque has some interesting architectural features ,such as columns of different sizes and from earlier periods. Seljuk Palace was built during the reign of Sultan Kılıçarslan II (1156-1192).

Karatay Medresesi Museum
Karatay Madrasah was built in 1252 in the Seljuk period. It served as a theological school , it now houses many beautiful historical tiles.

Aziziye Mosque
Aziziye Mosque was originally built in the 17th century but was restored 200 years later, after it was destroyed by fire. This late renovation resulted in the mosque being reconstructed in an unusual baroque and Rococo style which contrasts sharply with other mosques.

It was a great rxperience, the tour guide Huseyin was amazing, very knowledgeable, kind and patience. The experience ended up as 2 friends. I'm very happy because of the explanation of Rumi's live and city history.
We had a great day with our guide, taking us first to Sille, explain all the history very nice. The lady at the priest house insit we sit for a free glass of tea - how special! We saw all the best of Konja by walking in the old town and the history and stories of these places were shared with us Had a very nice traditional lunch as well!
I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was thoughtfully curated, deeply informative, and filled with eight full hours of history, Sufism, and stories—exactly what I needed, and more. A big shout-out to my remarkable guide, Hüseyin: a kind and warm soul with knowledge, integrity, and what sounds like a very exciting career in his former life! He also made sure I was safely dropped off at the bus station before we parted ways. It was a great pleasure getting to know him as a person, and I truly appreciated the knowledge and wisdom he brought to the trip. Highly recommend.
My experience exceeded my expectations The guides were sophisticated in their knowledge, meticulously planned and quite flexible to accomodate my changing preferences This turned out to be a personal tour from getting picked up at the airport, the guided tour of Konya (as a Rumi fan it was a very important trip) The staff was very fluent in English, had scholarship of the area to keep my interest and genuinely friendly (I count them as friends now). They made sure my next stops to Catalhoyuk and Cappadocia were lined up and coordinated. Special shout out to Fatma, Mete and Fatih for making the trip so perfect

I booked a flight from Istanbul to Konya and back for a 1 day tour. This tour was the BEST! Driver picked us up from airport when our flight landed at 8:30 am and then catered entire tour for us for the whole day in excellent large vans with drivers and knowledgeable tour guide. After a full day they dropped us off at airport for our 7 pm flight. They were so flexible and we spent the whole day touring all the great sites in Konya all in one day! We were a family of 5 with kids and mom age 70. We started off with historical Greek sites, then Rumi’s tomb and ended with some amazing mosques and museums! The driver was so helpful for our mom and dropped us off as close as possible to sites. The tour also included a fabulous lunch at an amazing authentic restaurant with the best food we had in all of Turkey. Everything was perfect and they made the tour comfortable, easy, accommodating for all of us and if we wanted to stay at a place longer they catered everything for us! Really the best service all around! 10/10!
My visit to Konya was fulfillment of a spiritual journey to renew my devotion to Mevlana Rumi. I was most fortunate to have Fatma Horzum as my tour guide and teacher. Her fluency in English ( she teaches English at a rural school) was a great asset. But more importantly was her profound knowledge of Anatolian history and the Sufi traditions embodied in Rumi's teachings. Her guidance throughout the tour ( I had only one day in Konya) was calm, respectful and paced to my senior needs . Fatma and her tour company are highly recommended to deliver a tour that is tailored to your requirements and needs. There is no commercial angle such as contrived visits to specific shops, restaurants etc. I return home with very find and dear memories of Konya . And I hope I have another opportunity to visit Konya with my family and spend more time with Fatma as our tour guide.
