Luca has lived in Japan for many years and knows a lot about many things. I was able to discover places otherwise I wouldn't, staying comfortably at home while he was fighting with rain and wind to show me Takayama. He is well prepared well and passionate, he knows what is he talking about. A great online tour of the famous old town in Takayama, Japan. The tour guide Luca shows you around, tells you about the history of the town and Japan and, of course, answers all your questions! He‘s a very friendly and knowledgable guy who speaks English, Italian and Japanese. The picturesque old town is amazing ! He‘ll also show you some sake breweries and the place where the huge ‚floats‘ are kept for the Takayama festival twice a year. On request he can also show you the famous Hida village in an extended tour. Anyway I had a very interesting and fun Online tour (the first one for me) of an original (not rebuilt !!) jap. Old town from the comfort of my home ! I absolutely recommend the tour AND the guide !!

A window to Japan from the comfort of your living room sofa! Thank you, Luca, we truly enjoyed the tour and are left feeling inspired. Together with our tour guide, we walked through the old town of the city, learned about Sake and even got a glimpse of some of the historic floats used in parades. Luca was so personable, took his time to answer all of our questions and had a really great sense of humor. The virtual experience exceeded our expectations. It was engaging, educational and entertaining. Definitely worth doing.
