Amazing Ipoh and Cameron Highland tour! We took a 2 day guided tour, 1st day Ipoh and 2nd day Cameron Highlands. Our tour guide, Andy, was excellent. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure our safety and comfort. Highlights in Ipoh was a visit to Mirror Lake (Tasik Cermin) and Gua Tempurung, a large limestone cave which we understand is the largest in the world. At the end of the 1st day, Andy recommended places to get a good coffee and options for dinner. The 2nd day in Cameron Highlands was the highlight. Andy arranged for us to visit the Mossy Forest and tea plantations as well as a strawberry farm. We had a lovely lunch at the golf course clubhouse which overlooks the green. We stayed a night in Cameron Highlands so chose to be dropped off at our hotel rather than be driven back to Ipoh. The one night stay at Zenith Hotel was magnifent and we spent the cool evening strolling around Tanah Rata and getting a sumptuous dinner.
