What you'll do
Participants will learn how to better take advantage of their digital cameras features and functions with a professional photographer as instructor. Participants will also get hands on instruction on best angles, locations and composition.

With only two of us in the group, we had lots of individual attention from Bruce, our instructor. As a professional photographer with years of experience, he was very knowledgeable about good places to shoot, how different-brand cameras and lenses operated, and techniques to broaden the types of photos that we could shoot. It was a valuable lesson for me.
The workshop was great! Zim gave us great tips for photography in general (compositions, alignment etc.) and how to make the best out of some iconic nyc spots. Would definately recommend it, And would be happy to go on another workshop with Zim For tourists in nyc, i would recommend it at the beginning of the trip, would make your photos better during the rest of it
I had a wonderful photo experience, the instructor David was wonderful, is very knowledgeable and was able to explain different techniques I had not used before, he helped me improve my photography skills, When I return to NY I would like to go again. The experience exceeded my expectations.
Excellent evening with a really good and informative photographer
We had a great tour with Zim! She chose several excellent locations for us to practice techniques, and was very detailed in explaining what she looks for in a picture and how to utilize our cameras for any situation! Would definitely recommend this for anyone who has any interest in photography.
I did a photography session with Zim today and it was absolutely fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explained things in a way that made it easy to understand and immediately put into practice. Zim helped me compose better photos and showed me how to really get the most out of my camera. We spent the session walking around the area near Rockefeller Center, photographing buildings, the subway, and other iconic New York scenes while chatting and learning along the way. It was relaxed, fun, and packed with useful tips that made a real difference to my photography. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to improve their photography while exploring New York. It was a brilliant experience!
