A magical cooking class

We had the most wonderful experience at Simona’s pasta and tiramisu cooking class in Italy. Simona and her mom taught us how to make two types of pasta from scratch, along with a delicious tiramisu, and their warmth and patience made the whole experience special. What really stood out was how kind and genuine both of them were. Simona was a joy to talk with, and we ended up chatting as much as we cooked. By the end of the class, it didn’t feel like a lesson with strangers — it felt like spending an afternoon with new friends. If you’re looking for an authentic, hands-on cooking experience in Italy that’s as much about connection as it is about food, we can’t recommend this class enough.

Best experience in Italy!!!

Simona, Carolina, Antonio and Carlotta welcomed us into their home like we were family. We had a wonderful experience preparing and eating incredible food with Simona. English was amazing and patience with our skills was second to none. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an intimate personal experience.

Get off the beaten track and learn from a local family!

The cooking class with Simona and Carolina was fantastic. Simona's knowledge, energy and warmth made everything perfect. Learning how to make homemade gnocchi was a real treat and I have to say that the tiramisu was one of the best I've ever tasted. Being in someone's home that was outside of typical, popular tourist locations really made it wonderful. Communication was really good in terms of letting us know where to meet, etc.

Cooking Class

My fiancée and I did a private cooking class with Simona and her mother at their own home and it was an amazing experience. Simona and her family are very friendly people and very talented cooks! They helped us learn how to make a delicious meal and we had a blast the whole time. It was a very special experience and I highly encourage anyone to book an experience with them!

Italian cultural immersion!

It was an awesome, amazing, incredible experience. Simona and her family were very welcoming, it didn’t feel like we were meeting them for the first time. It was the last activity in our things to do at Como and must say, we saved the best for the last! What an experience! Strongly recommend.

Home it was!

Simona and Carolina were so friendly. We got big hugs at the train station and had excellent conversation while we learned the art of making raviolis in their home. They were wonderful to eat with Carolina’s light sauce. Highly recommend this experience.

Our cooking class in Como, Italy

The entire family was so friendly and so welcoming. A few days before, Simona texted me directly giving train directions, and also confirmed the day of. Her father Antonio met us at the station and drove us directly to their beautiful home. Simona and her mother Carolina taught us how to make homemade Tiramisu, Gnocchi, and Fettucine. Carolina made her special sauce for the pasta, and Simona, her pesto for the gnocchi. The whole family was so warm and conversational we immediately felt like old friends. This afternoon with them is the highlight of our trip. If we are ever in Como, we would book another class with them.
