Översikt
Learn to read the sculpted portals and the Gallery of Kings, understand the engineering behind the flying buttresses, and hear the story of the 2019 fire, the rebuilding of the spire, and the craftsmen who brought Notre-Dame back to life.
The tour continues across the Île de la Cité, the island where Paris was born, tracing its history from Roman Lutetia to the medieval city.
Keep it intimate in a small group of 8 people max, or book a private tour and let your guide tailor the stories to your interests, from Gothic architecture to the restoration. Families and children are always welcome.
This is an exterior tour. Entry to the cathedral is free for individual visitors, and you're welcome to go inside on your own afterwards.

Resenärsomdömen
Alex, our guide was knowledgeable, personable and very easy to understand. Notre Dame is such a beautiful and big space, one hour covered the highlights.
Monty is the best guide we have seen! Exceptional work!
David has a great personality which comes through in his interaction during the tour. Very knowledgeable and is able to put all the knowledge he has into spoken word that you can understand. He focused on our interests rather than just following a prepared “script”.
Our visit to Notre-Dame was truly brought to life by an incredible guide. We learned so many fascinating details, and the experience was made all the more special by Rene’s knowledge and passion.
Very informative tour of Notre Dame Cathedral. The guide was very informative. We were enjoyed everything about the tour.
A great experience with an incredibly knowledgeable guide. What a privilege to explore and visit the wonderful renovation of this sacred space.
This was a great experience. Our guide Monty knew his stuff and was enjoyable. He contacted us in advance to reconfirm and was patient with our questions. I’d definitely use him again.
We had a fantastic tour of Notre Dame with John. He was an absolute wealth of information—so knowledgeable about the history of France and incredibly passionate about the cathedral. He pointed out architectural details we never would have noticed on our own, and every explanation added so much depth to the experience. Honestly, we wished we had even more time with him because he had so much to teach. We never would have had the same experience exploring on our own. Highly recommend a tour with John if you want to truly appreciate Notre Dame’s history and beauty.
