Our small group was expertly and warmly led by Joëlle in the kitchen, at the local outdoor market and at the table to eat the food that we prepared. An extremely enjoyable experience. Learning to cook in a french style - lots of butter and creme freche and chocolate - a visit to an incredible food market and other good shops in a beautiful and vibrant neighborhood of Lyon - a pleasant social gathering and delicious lunch with our hosts and other travelers in a spectacular home and outdoor space high above the city.

Joelle has created a wonderful experience. We had such an enjoyable time creating some fun recipes. The market excursion was also good. This was a fun, warm and wonderful way to spend a day, particularly if one likes cooking. Joelle planned an informative and filled day. After doing some initial food prep (she called it "work"), we went to the daily loca, outdoorl farmers market to pick up produce and cheeses. Then back to get beautiful home to finish preparing and eating the meal. I'm an avid home cook, yet learned new dishes and preparations. We all say down to eat in the outdoor patio area with a view of all Lyon. Her husband Phillipe joined us and our was like enjoying a special meal with family. Unique, delicious, and friendly. Highly recommended.
