An Unforgettable Journey Through Egypt with Mahmoud Our journey through Cairo and Alexandria was a truly unforgettable experience, and our wonderful guide, Mahmoud, played a major role in making it so special. The programme was incredibly rich and well planned. We visited the Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara, the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Mosque of Ibn Tulun, the Gayer-Anderson Museum. The felucca ride and dinner cruise on the Nile also added a magical atmosphere to the trip. Mahmoud’s extensive knowledge of ancient Egyptian civilization, archaeology, history and local culture brought every museum, monument and archaeological site to life. His explanations were clear, engaging and detailed, and he was always patient and attentive to our questions. He did not simply provide facts; he helped us understand the connections between different periods, people and places. Mahmoud was also professional, friendly, well organized and genuinely passionate about Egypt’s extraordinary cultural heritage. Thanks to his guidance, we experienced Egypt not only as visitors, but also as curious travellers discovering thousands of years of history. I would highly recommend Mahmoud to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable and inspiring guide in Egypt. Thank you, Mahmoud, for making this journey so meaningful and memorable!

We went with our two seven-year-olds. Kassem was very knowledgeable, patiently explained everything, and answered all of our questions and engaged the kids with stories. Kassem was never pushy and I felt he was honest, which I really appreciated because when I did a tour in Egypt years ago, I felt like the guide was pushing us to go to specific stores like they were getting a cut to bring us there.
We have been on tour in Cairo twice with Mahmoud in the last 6 months. Planning ahead with him, the tour was a great experience: the Grand Egyptian Museum (where the Tutankhamun is the key feature, together with the wooden boats in a separate wing), the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (where the 21 royal mummies are), and the Pyramids. Mahmoud arranged perfectly all the details, including tickets and time slots, and very knowledgeably told us the salient details at each exhibition. Wonderful to listen to the inside stories and background of ancient Egyptian civilization, in near perfect English! Mahmoud is definitely recommended!
