Alejandro was a great guide very passionate about his city and tour it was a unique experience seeing the sites and learning the history.
What a great tour! So interesting and informative. Our guide Alejandro was funny, flexible (we needed to adjust our arrival time after some travel delays), and told us heartwarming stories about the city and its little nuances. He clearly has a passion for the history of the city. The camera obscura was unlike anything that we had seen and was so neat. The drink at the end was a beautiful way to cap off the afternoon.
Alejandro was knowledgeable and passionate about Cádiz, and shared his love of Cadiz with the group. Thanks for the journey around Cadiz.
This tour was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Alejandro was was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Cadiz which makes him a great tour guide. He seemed to really enjoy aharing the little details of his city which we would have never figured out on our own. We would highly recommend taking this tour. You will be glad you did!
Alejandro was an engaging, Cádiz loving guide. Not only did he describe both the history and reason the Torre Tavira existed but brought to life the way Cádiz became so important as the major port to the Americas & world beyond. His English was excellent & he was able to describe the whole history within the tower which is only described in Spanish. The tour also included an excellent walk around the local area , Alejandro brought it to life, showing us everything from special street lights to sculptures, to where the merchants & bankers lived. He explained beautifully how they would have lived, & showed us how the merchant houses have been changed over the years, some more so than others. Can’t recommend this tour more highly, it’s enlightening & historically interesting but most of all fun!
It was a great time and experience. Alejandro was a great guide and was very patient with us as we had a few hiccups and arrived later than expected but he was kind and waited and still showed us a great time! He knew a lot about the area and was able to answer all of our questions and even took the time to get to know us on a personal level. We definitely look forward to going on another tour and if he is the guide it's a no brainer!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Alejandro, was excellent, friendly, and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend this tour. If you're visiting Cadiz for a few days, I would recommend doing this on the first day, as you will get some ideas about where you want to visit.
We were part of a small group of 5 which was refreshing when you see huge hoards of folk on some tours. So very intimate tour. Very knowledgeable guide. Alejandro very pleasant and answered all my questions and queries. Lovely experience especially learning about the merchants' houses and how they were built to serve particular purposes. Alejandro also suggested we visit the large scale model of the city at the Museum of the Constitution which we did the next day which was very impressive. Thanks 😊
