Very engaging and interesting tour with lots of historical details. It's a nice walk around St. Malo Old Town, with many stops along significant historical spots. The tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of St. Malo, especially military details, during the second world war and shows many pictures, historical documents as well as army equipment. The tour is in French, and it's two hours of walking over cobblestone streets, stairs and even the beach which requires some physical fitness, so be aware of that before booking! If you do speak French and especially if you are interested in military history, I highly recommend this tour.

Corentin is a passionate and fascinating historian guide. In this tour, he blends global history (World War II) and local history (Saint-Malo) through welcome historical reminders and anecdotes. He does not spare his energy to make the tour lively, illustrate it (photos, currency, ration tickets), and answer questions. The 2 hours go by very quickly. In short, we highly recommend it!
