Bayonne – elver, farger og første historier Vi starter dagen i Bayonne, hvor elver møter fargerike gater og baskisk liv føles veldig levende. Biarritz – Havutsikt og egen lunsj Neste er Biarritz, hvor Atlanterhavet stjeler showet. Vi skal vandre langs sjøen, nyte stor havutsikt, og passere gjennom den livlige Les Halles markedet. Marlena was a great host and guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her. The three towns were so nice to visit. She was so nice and helpful- would love to tour with her again!
My husband and I had a memorable day visiting St Jean de Luz, Biarritz and Bayonne. We were lucky to have a private tour with Inigo, who is smart, funny, charming and very knowledgeable about the area. By the end of the day we felt like we had gotten a good feel for the three towns and gained a new friend in the process. We’ve done quite a few private tours in our travels but this one is probably at the top of the list.
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. This was a small group tour from San Sebastián to three cities in the Basque region of France: San Jean de Luz, Biarritz, and Bayonne. Our guide, Iñigo, was on time, informative, fun, and attentive to our interests and questions. And these are three great cities, and Iñigo knows his way around and all the info about the sights and shops. It helps that he is from the area and is a local and speaks with authority on the Basque region.
My daughter and I had the best day visiting the three Basque towns in France. Luis was amazing - kind, patient and very knowledgeable! He went out of his way to stop at places he thought we’d enjoy. Definitely worth the time and money! Neat my expectations, highly recommend!

What a great way to get a taste of France! Visiting Europe for the first time, we were looking for a way to get the most out of our trip to San Sebastian, so we booked this tour. Our guide, Luis, was the perfect combination of driver, tour guide, and historian. Our group was just us and another couple which allowed a very personal experience with Luis, his knowledge of all the places we visited and the local culture was incredible, we learned so much more than we would have if we had done this on our own. We had ample time at each destination to explore, shop, and have lunch, Luis was very flexible with the time we needed at each stop. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone!
It was a great way to see and hear more about the Basque region. Our guide Inigo was fantastic. The pace of the tour and the places we visited were perfect.
Our tour to the French Basque country was a wonderful excursion from San Sebastián. Marlena is a great and personable tour guide and she is incredibly knowledgeable about the region. We especially enjoyed our time in Biarritz. Expect some, but not a ton, of free time at each destination. Overall a great tour particularly for those interested in regional cuisine or getting a taste of the French side of the Basque region.
