Since I started working as a guide I realized that guiding is not enough. The important thing is interpret what you see and what you cannot see as well. It is not a question of facts and dates, it is a question of taking a guided tour that will make you understand the places as a whole, their past, their present and their possible future. After our visit you will get to know the Alhambra in a different way, with special eyes, ones with a different perspective.

Generalife
Først vil vi besøke The Generalife, vi vil vandre rundt i palasset og hagene og vi vil lære om vanningssystemet til Alhambra.

Asier is amazingly knowledgeable about the Alhambra and it’s history. He kept the tour moving with interesting stories and anécdotes. It was a full 3 hours with a short rest break in the middle.
Asier was amazing! We travel a lot and usually get a guide for most excursions. Asier, was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. The Alhambra was spectacular thanks to Asier. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.
Asier was wonderful. He’s extremely knowledgeable and communicates very well. He taught us a lot about the history of the Alhambra and of Spain (we thought we knew a lot about Spain…). He discussed the architecture and its purpose, the way the gardens and reflecting pools are organized, and lots more. We considered visiting without a guide, but it would have been a mistake. We would have missed so much about the history and significance of the palace and generally the Muslim period in Spain. Gracias Asier!

Just an absolutely incredible private tour through the Alhambra. Great communication with the guide from beginning to end. So knowledgeable about every aspect of the Alhambra. Not just the architecture but the true history about the place and the historic figures who shaped it over the years. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. Would actually do it all over again tomorrow!
I was traveling alone with my 5 year old and am very glad I chose a private tour rather than group. With this age of a child, I would rather have no tour than a group tour. So, I was thankful to find a private one at a fiar price. Our guide, Jaime, did a great job balancing my interest in the history and architecture while also engaging my child in conversation. He was very friendly and patient, and he made it easy to navigate the entrance times and such.
Asier is one of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He was able to take a site exploding with history, and organize it to offer the most essential ideas for a gripping 3 hour journey. I've had friends go to the Alhambra without a guide who found the Alhambra overwhelming from the size needing to spend 5-6 hours meandering around the grounds. But with Asier's expertise we got a really excellent experience and walked away with a rich grasp on the context through which it was built and the thought processes behind all the design. Feel very lucky we found Asier and highly recommend him to anyone coming to Granada. Wish we had thought to book even more tours with him, and if we come back to Granada surely we will :)
