Memphis, Saqqara and the Pyramids of Giza from Cairo

Wonderful cruise down the Nile - booked for 3 nights Aswan to Luxor with Memphis Tours. The 3 night trip was perfect for us - we saw everything you would see on the 7 day cruise between Aswan and Luxor. The rooms are all wonderful, we had a room on the bottom level, starboard side - great views and a little balcony. The bathroom has a bathtub, hairdryer, and a very good shower. We arrived to a huge bowl of fruit, and we were given 6 bottles of water each day. Since our guide would buy water for us on the tours, we took the bottles of water to lunch and dinner, as others did as well. The crew were fantastic, and the food is over-the-top-good for Egypt. Plenty of local flavor, but with international options as well. The ship was only about one third full on our cruise, Nov-Dec 2019. The staff outnumbered the passengers 3 to 1! We booked our cruise through Memphis Tours - everyone else on the boat was on the 7 day itinerary with Jules Verne. So Memphis had a separate itinerary, and therefore we had our own (private) Memphis tours guide for our whole itinerary. The fee wifi is not too bad for being underway. There's a shallow pool that I don't think anyone used, but the inside lounge and sundecks were very nice and most people spent a lot of time outside watching the Nile go by. The cost included all the admissions. We spent 2 nights in Aswan before the cruise and 2 nights in Luxor which was great. Overnight in Luxor. Day 4 - Monday 2 Dec 07:00 Move out of room, Breakfast on board 08:00 Depart ship. 08:00 Visit West Bank -- Collossi of Memnon (free, on the side of the road) Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari), alabaster factory 12:00 Transfer to Luxor Hilton
