The organisers were very helpful and so generous, as we had to cancel our trip the day before we were booked to travel due to illness and they stressed to us that it was no problem and we did not have to pay anything. They had been very helpful throughout the booking and planning process. Our first stop was the Black Desert, where we climbed a mountaintop and took in absolutely breathtaking views. Next, we headed to the White Desert — a surreal, otherworldly landscape. We spotted desert foxes, marveled at spectacular rock formations, and explored fields of quartz and rolling sand dunes. The kids loved sandboarding down the dunes! As night fell, we gathered around a campfire for dinner under a sky full of stars, singing and making music together as a family. We slept out in the open desert beneath the most incredible starry sky — a truly magical, once-in-a-lifetime moment. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast before heading back to Cairo, already talking about what incredible memories this would create for us. This was, without a doubt, one of the best family adventures we’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable desert experiences
We had an incredible time camping in the dessert. Our guides could not have been more friendly and helpful and showed us all the great spots, took us sand boarding and made us a great lunch, dinner and breakfast. We really enjoyed our trip and they were also very accomodating taking us to Luxor after instead of Cairo for an extra fee which we really appreciated.
This White Desert tour was an otherwordly experience, made even better due to efficient organisation and our amazing, kind, helpful and brilliant Beduin guide Medo. The landscape is truly mesmerasing, the food was great, and we were even blessed to catch a few glimpses of the true desert king - the fennec! This part of Egypt is still not suffering from overtourism and overcommercialisation, and I really hope it stays that way.
I highly recommend this trip! It was a unique and fantastic experience. We felt taken care of at all times and that gave us the opportunity to explore without any worry. Mohamed did a great job of making us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was excellent, we had always plenty of water.
This was definitely one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. The landscapes are surreal and the experience of sleeping and waking up in the desert is wonderful. Everyone was very attentive from the first contact and during the tour we felt very cared for and welcomed. The food was delicious too. I highly recommend it.
