The Pyramids Of Giza
Onze gids haalt u op op de door u gewenste locatie of hotel om uw reis door Caïro te beginnen. De tour begint met een bezoek aan de Grote Piramides van Gizeh en bezoekt het panoramische gebied waar u kunt genieten van een geweldige korte kameelrit. Vervolgens bezoekt u de Sfinx en de Valleitempel van Chefren, waar de ontvangst is van het koninklijke lichaam van Chefren. De Valleitempel werd gebouwd voor het mummificatieproces van koning Chefren. Ten slotte krijg je een close-up van de Grote Sfinx, de bewaker van de piramides met het lichaam van een leeuw en het hoofd van koning Chefren. The Great Pyramid of Khufu
De piramide van Khufu is het enige wonder van de zeven oude wonderen dat nog steeds bestaat en nog steeds bestaat!! Het complex is al meer dan 3800 jaar het hoogste gebouw ter wereld en bestaat uit een valleitempel, nu begraven onder het dorp Nazlet el-Samman; Er zijn diabase-bestrating en nummulitische kalkstenen muren gevonden, maar de locatie is nog niet opgegraven. Pyramid Complex of Khafre
De op een na hoogste piramide in het complex is gewijd aan koning Chefren of Chefren, het hele complex is nog in goede staat, dus samen met uw egyptoloog verken je de valleitempel en de verhoogde weg van koning Chefren. (Houd er rekening mee dat voor het betreden van de piramides van binnenuit een speciaal ticket vereist is, uw gids helpt u graag verder).

Pyramid of Menkaure
De kleinste piramide op het Gizeh-plateau, nu is hij ongeveer 61 meter hoog, de Menkaure-piramide is heel bijzonder vanwege de granieten buitenlaag die nog steeds op het onderste deel van de piramide zit, het graniet werd gewonnen in Aswan, ruim 9000 kilometer verwijderd van Gizeh

I did the all-inclusive tour option with the inside of the Great Pyramid (Khufu/Cheops), lunch, guide and driver. I did not do the camel ride (personal choice) but got to get up close and take pictures. I had the two Ahmeds for my tour. Ahmed the driver picked me up from the airport and gave me a warm welcome. Ahmed the guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. He explained the history of prehistoric and ancient Egypt thoroughly and told me many stories about the pyramids. We even took a deep dive into fringe archeology and the different theories people have. Both Ahmeds were great! A pointer: For the all-inclusive option, there are two tickets: one to enter the site and another to enter Khufu/Cheops pyramid. Khafre pyramid was closed for regular visits during the time of my tour. Menkaure pyramid is a separate ticket, but it's easy to purchase at the automated kiosk. Be mindful that both pyramids are very cramped, narrow, hot, and urinous inside and they have very low ceilings and steep steps, so be careful if you have difficulty climbing. Overall this tour was a great start to my trip. Both Ahmeds were very inviting and I got to see and learn a lot!

I can only have good memories and reccomendation for this thrilling dicovery trip of pyramids and sphinx by Travel Door Tours. Mostafa , my travel guide for the day, was an excellent representative and spokesman. His command of english was perfect and knowledge of the place too. I got picked up ontime and delivered back to hotel on time too. We travel by car to the site and walked around in the area. The trip also included a camel ride and lunch. Under no circumstances, I felt unsafe or hurried to complete the trip. Mostafa gave me all the time I needed, he actually encoraged me to take my time in order to experiece the place. Mostafa gave me also lots of reccomendation on sellers and people approching you onsite. He was always in my proximity and alwasy helpfull with any equiries I might have had. Mostafa is also a lovely person to communicate with, so I really felt at easy with him. I will definetly book him again for my next trip to egypt. He was such a nice person to talk to, that I would reccomend his services to anyone while visiting Cairo. The trip was also very effordable and private one on one

Absolutely fantastic experience with our tour guide Mariam at the Pyramids! From start to finish, our visit was unforgettable. Mariam was incredibly knowledgeable, providing in-depth historical insights into the pyramids, the Sphinx, and ancient Egyptian culture that truly brought the sites to life. She managed everything with ease, from avoiding the busiest areas to securing the best spots for photos, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves without feeling rushed. Beyond being professional and punctual, she was friendly and approachable, which made us feel comfortable asking questions and diving deeper into the history. We ended our trip with a delicious lunch of Koshary. While it might not be everyone’s favorite, I enjoyed it, especially as a vegan. Our trip also included a camel ride, but we chose to skip it out of consideration for animal rights. Highly recommend this experience.
