WAY more than just a SUP adventure this comprehensive beginner's paddle lesson and SUP safari experience is all about skills, safety, confidence and tranquillity!

Wat je gaat doen
Bekroond met "Ervaring van het jaar" bij de Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 22/23!! Klaar voor wat SUP-therapie? Leer stand-up paddleboard (SUP) en geniet van een SUP-safari op de prachtige rivier de Avon met Wittering SUP; een bekroonde ASI-geaccrediteerde SUP-school. Perfect voor absolute beginners, je leert stand-up paddleboard gevolgd door een rustige tocht over de prachtige rivier de Avon om te genieten van de rust en de lokale fauna. Elk verkocht ticket levert een bijdrage aan de Kemerton Conservation Trust, die helpt bij het verzorgen van de prachtige dieren in het wild hier. Met ASI-gekwalificeerde SUP technische coaches (en alle geleverde uitrusting), leer je alles wat je nodig hebt om je paddleboard-avontuur te beginnen; hoe te knielen en uiteindelijk op een plank te staan, correcte peddelslag en draaitechnieken, evenals kennis van veiligheid en uitrusting voordat we op avontuur gaan! Ideaal voor koppels, families of vriendengroepen vanaf 12 jaar, zolang je minimaal 50 meter kunt zwemmen. Dit is een zeer toegankelijke watersport en je hebt geen ervaring nodig om mee te doen. Alle roeiers krijgen 10% korting van onze vrienden bij Revil's Farm Shop and Cafe; warme dranken en heerlijke lunches ter plaatse - Yum!

A great experience from start to finish. Alex the guide was amazing and always giving tips on how to improve. So calm and beautiful on the river highly recommend.
Just had an excellent first couple lesson with Alex. She was informative, really friendly and had so much patience! Hugely encouraging and was constantly giving tips along the way to assist you. Many valuable skills learnt to take away and practice. Never expected to be up so soon. Oh and her "jelly legs will go" comment was correct! 🤣 Would thoroughly recommend and go back for more of their sessions. Thank you!
Excellent tuition tailored to the age and ability of the clients. Attention was paid to physical and emotional health so it was unthreatening, rewarding and achievable. Following a couple of tips from James, I can now stand and paddle along feeling totally relaxed whereas I had struggled on previous occasions out on the sea. I would have confidence in taking children to learn with SUP Wittering. Adults of all ages have a great time too and the launch site at the sailing club is wonderful with toilets, changing rooms and refreshments at the Farm Shop. I’d love to go again and highly recommend it.
Was given this as a gift - but would happily have paid for it. There were just 2 of us on a beautiful Monday morning and we were taken out by Alex who proved to be a great coach and good supporter. Scenery was beautiful and we also met a group of escaped terrapins. Would highly recommend this. My wife also did a bit of paddle-board yoga with Alex which she really enjoyed.
Spent this summer taking groups of Sea Cadets (aged 10-18) on the water with Wittering SUP. As well as learning to SUP, they've had a fantastic time and all want to come again! The instructors are very professional and are brilliant with our young people!
Myself and partner had a wonderful morning river safari with Alex. She gave us great instruction and advice on all things sup like boards, good routes to try and even tips for paddling with our daughter. She is so lovely and friendly and put us both completely at ease. The stretch of river we went on is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, I can’t wait to go out again!
We did the River Safari learning to SUP - and had a simply fabulous time. We learnt so much, really developed a confidence on the board through great teaching of the techniques, as well as lots of extra tips. It felt really safe, flexible to the needs of individuals, fun and challenging. Highly recommend this - and having the extra hour on the safari, meant we had time to consolidate our learning and see more of the amazing River Avon.
Excellent! Alex was amazing and patient. Great tuition, and it felt really safe. The location was beautiful. Toilets and shower also available at site. Definitely recommend.
