Oia
Oia - Het kroonjuweel van de Egeïsche Zee! Oia is wereldberoemd om zijn adembenemende schoonheid en dramatische kliffen met uitzicht op de vulkanische caldera. We zullen gemakkelijk door de niet-steile voetgangersstraten lopen, zodat u het witgewassen landschap en de iconische blauwe koepelkerken zonder enige inspanning kunt bewonderen. Ik deel graag de geschiedenis van dit dorp, maar sommige herinneringen kun je het beste in stilte maken. Veel gasten vragen om vrije tijd in Oia om privé van het moment te genieten, de charmante boetiekjes te verkennen of gewoon naar de horizon te staren. Vraag er gerust naar! Als je klaar bent voor de volgende plek, ontmoeten we elkaar bij Lolita's Gelato. Het ligt direct aan het centrale plein en is de meest verse huisgemaakte gelato in Santorini! U krijgt duidelijke en eenvoudige instructies zodat het ontmoetingspunt voor u heel gemakkelijk te vinden is. Mijn doel is om ervoor te zorgen dat u Oia ervaart met totaal comfort en de vrijheid om deze prachtige plek te voelen.

Mesaria
Messaria - Het authentieke hart van Santorini Messaria is mijn thuis en de plaats waar ik woon. Terwijl de meesten aan de rand van de caldera blijven, onthult het avontuur in het centrum van het eiland zijn ware ziel. In de 19e eeuw was dit het industriële hart van Santorini. Vandaag ziet u een fascinerend contrast tussen grootse neoklassieke herenhuizen en bescheiden lokale grotwoningen. Terwijl we door dit niet toeristische verborgen juweeltje dwalen, ervaart u het authentieke lokale leven. Hoor kerkklokken, zie buren kletsen en geniet van de geur van bloeiende bougainvillea die over de tuinmuren stroomt. Door mijn geboortestad te verkennen zie je Santorini door mijn ogen, weg van de drukte. Het is een plaats van rust, traditie en oprechte gastvrijheid. Monolithos Beach
Laat de wind van de Egeïsche Zee zachtjes je gezicht raken! Bewonder het niet drukke zwarte vulkanische strand van Monolithos. Geniet van Griekse traditionele gerechten in een familierestaurant naast het sprankelende blauwe water van de Egeïsche Zee! Het is een drie generatie familie restaurant waar lokale families eten en waar ik mijn eigen familie neem. Geniet van verse gegrilde vis en lokale gerechten gevolgd door gratis huisgebakken baklava met ijs en de beroemde Vinsanto wijn van Santorini!

Markos was a fantastic tour guide. He was kind and full of love and gratitude for Santorini. He was so excited to share it with us! We went to iconic locations in Oia but also learned a lot about the local culture. Our local lunch was amazing too! We had a lot of fun with Markos.
Markos is the founder and the only driver for this tour and he knocks it out of the park. Picked up my group of 6 on time and got us to our first stop to walk and take pictures of the main area in Santorini. From there he took us off the main area away from the hundreds of people and showed us around a residential area and took some amazing pictures no one else will be taking unless you book with Markos. Then he dropped us off at an amazing restaurant on the beach. The food was so fresh and the whole day was amazing. His energy is unmatched and you can tell how much he loved this area and wants to share it with everyone. His very friendly and we talked about his family, our family, and anything in between. If you’re looking to book a tour, hands down reach out to Markos. You won’t regret your day with him and you’ll have pictures no one else has because of him.
Markos was personable, energetic, positive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Cruise ship operations seriously delayed our tour and yet he was able to rearrange the schedule to fit in everything we wanted including wine tasting, visits to quiet authentic parts of Santorini and a wonderful lunch at a seaside restaurant. He got us out of the tourist areas to see more than the touristy part of Santorini, while sharing insights about Greek society and culture. His stint in Germany and his higher education made his English excellent. In our opinion the extra cost was worth it (he is a bit more expensive than others). Markos was a lot better than our cruise sponsored tours.

We were a family of four with just a 5-hour stopover in Santorini between ferries from Crete to Milos, and Markos made sure we made the absolute most of our time! He showed us some of the most stunning spots on the island, all while carefully managing the timing and knowing exactly how to avoid the busiest crowds. He made the tour genuinely fun and engaging for them, sharing fascinating facts about Santorini’s geology and history in a way that was both educational and entertaining. They were captivated the whole time! Santorini itself was absolutely breathtaking — dramatic cliffs, whitewashed villages, and deep blue sea views everywhere you turned. Absolutely a gem. Markos is a passionate, sharp guy, well educated , super knowledgeable guide. He has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable by the time we left the town of Kamari. Markos has very comfortable car to further enjoy your experience, more than well worth the money, he does not watch the clock like you are on a schedule .
