Overzicht
We'll greet each other at the South Lykken trailhead. As we hike the trail about a mile to our meditation spot, we'll listen to the natural beauty of Oswitz Canyon. I'll lead you through a grounding meditation to help you set your intention for the day, acknowledging your connection to the Earth and the universe.
Guests will walk away with stunning photos. Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, you'll have a grounded connection to the environment, a clear mind, and an open heart. We will hear the sounds of the earth. We will see the colors of the planet. We will breathe the essence of being. We will see the universe in motion. The morning sun will expose our shadows. If the stars agree, we will see big horn sheep.

- Voor de geleide meditatie zitten we op een rots. Als harde oppervlakken je storen, wil je misschien een deken of handdoek meenemen om op te zitten.

Wat je gaat doen
Er is een hoogteverschil van 750 voet over een mijl, met op sommige locaties een hellingsgraad van 25% tot 35%. Je loopt niet meer dan anderhalve kilometer naar onze meditatieplek en de totale wandeling zal niet meer dan vijf kilometer bedragen. Hoewel de route qua moeilijkheidsgraad en afstand als ‘matig’ wordt beschouwd, kan iemand die fysiek relatief fit is, de route op sommige punten ‘matig uitdagend’ vinden. Opties voor groeps-, privé- en aangepaste wandelingen zijn beschikbaar. Bij groepswandelingen kunnen meerdere partijen betrokken zijn. Privéwandelingen zijn beperkt tot uw gezelschap. De optie voor een aangepaste wandeling en meditatie omvat een aangepaste meditatie en het lezen van orakelkaarten met geestdieren.

Timothy provided an excellent hike and meditation. It is obvious he is experienced in guiding lots of people with varied levels of fitness. The meeting point was easy to find so we could then go to the trailhead. Timothy also creates an intentional schedule to allow plenty of time to stop and take in the environment while also getting frequent water breaks. We arrived at the top right on time for sunrise. The guided meditation was also wonderful. On the way down we were treated to two Big Horn Sheep on the trail, they were magnificent. 10/10!
I enjoyed the early morning hike surrounded by mountains siloutted in the twilight and the stars sparkling all around. Facing the morning sun as it crested the mountain, I felt like I was beginning my day with a special gift and a secret afforded only to those willing to rise early. The grounding meditation was purposeful, peaceful, and professional. Timothy patiently answered my questions about the area and geology. I recommend this activity.
This was the most wonderful experiences I’ve had in a long time. Timothy is an amazing guide and person. The hike to the top, the sunrise, the birds, the stillness and solitude. I came away from this experience with more peace and tranquility I’ve felt in a long time as primary caregiver to my husband, with MS. Whatever your situation is, don’t miss this one. Timothy, I’ll definitely be back to do this again next time I’m in Palm springs.
Timothy is an accomplished “spiritual guide”. He has not only been practicing meditation since childhood but his own life experiences have enhanced to talk about “metaphors of life”. He was very supportive of need for physical and “mental” needs as I navigated the hike with some trepidation. You feel the beauty, warmth and comfort as well as the challenge of a sunrise hike with vigor and mental peace.
Timothy was an amazing guide, I really enjoyed his company and he made me feel so comfortable which was a big plus for me since this was my first time doing something alone. I would definitely recommend this sunrise hike.
