- Karatay Han Nadat we u hebben opgehaald bij uw hotel of vanaf het vliegveld in Cappadocië, vertrekken we naar Mesapotamië via de historische '' Zijderoute '', ongeveer 1 uur en 30 minuten later bereiken we een van de meest bijzondere karavanserai van de Selcuk-Turkse beschaving, Karatay Han Caravanserai werd gebouwd in de 13e eeuw en was in gebruik tot 1970!
- Pinarbasi We stoppen in Pinarbasi Village voor de lunch in het Taurusgebergte, waardoor we het platteland en het dagelijkse leven van het platteland van Turkije kunnen observeren.
- Kahramanmaras Op weg naar Mesopotamië stoppen we in de provincie Kahramanmaras voor een levenslange ervaring ''het proeven van het beste handgemaakte ijs'' (gemaakt van geitenmelk) in Turkije.
- Adiyaman Een stad in de buurt van de Nemrut-berg, de beste locatie om in de regio te verblijven, we zullen inchecken bij ons hotel en overnachten in Adıyaman! In de zomer bezoeken we vanwege de langere dag eerst de Nemrut-berg en genieten we van de zonsondergang vanaf de top, daarna gaan we naar het hotel!
- Nemrut Dagi National Park We vertrekken heel vroeg in de ochtend vanaf het hotel naar de berg Nemrut. Aan het einde van de weg stappen we uit het busje en lopen bijna twintig minuten tot aan de top. Hier kijken we naar de gedenkwaardige zonsopgang tussen de kolossale beelden en hoofden van de koningen en goden. De berg Nemrut is in 2015 door UNESCO geregistreerd als cultureel en historisch erfgoed.
- Arsemia Antik Kenti Zomerhoofdstad van Commagene Kingdom waar de meeste belangrijke religieuze ceremonies en vieringen werden georganiseerd; Zal zien At a Relief stele '' Handdruk van Antiochos en Heracles.
- Cendere Bridge Cendere Bridge is ook bekend als '' Septimius Severus Bridge '' omdat het werd gebouwd door de Romeinse keizer Lucius Septimius Severus in 193-211 na Christus op de Cendere-stroom;
- Karakus Tumulusu Een monumentaal graf waar de leden van de koninklijke familie werden begraven, Tumuluses bekend als piramides van ANATOLIA & MESEPOTAMIA;
- Ataturk Dam De dam gebouwd ter ere van Ataturk (oprichter van de Turkse Republiek) in 1992, wordt gebruikt voor landbouwirrigatie en voor de productie van elektriciteit! Het is de grootste dam gebouwd op de rivier de Eufraat !!! Zal luch hebben aan de promenade van de dam!
- Sanliurfa Zal verblijven in een boetiekhotel in Sanlıurfa dat bekend staat als ''stad van profeten'', een hulststad voor de joden, christenen en moslims! Optioneel kunt u genieten van ''Sıra Gecesi'', een dinershow met traditionele Mesepotamische muziek, dans en eten!
- Sanliurfa we zullen Abraham's Cave en de Pools of Holy Carp eromheen bezoeken. We zullen ook rond oosterse overdekte bazaar en Gümrükhan lopen!
- Gobeklitepe Eerste tempel van de menselijke geschiedenis !!! Tot de overblijfselen die bij de opgravingen van 2008 werden gevonden, hadden alle historici en archeologen een tegengestelde mening, maar het was duidelijk dat eerst de tempels werden gebouwd en daarna de nederzettingen eromheen! Eerste monumenten gebouwd bij B.C. 9600 Bijna 11.600 jaar geleden !
- Harran De oude stad gesticht in 3000 v.Chr. , waar de zon en de maan en de sterren voor het eerst als hulst werden geaccepteerd; De stad die in de Thora (Oude Testament) wordt genoemd als stad gesticht door de kleinzoon van de profeet NOAH; Eerste universiteit van de menselijke geschiedenis, eerste professionele astrologische studies; Huizen van klei in de landelijke stad Harran, gebouwd om koele plekken te krijgen in het zeer warme klimaat van de regio! Zal een kegelvormig koepelhuis van klei bezoeken van een familie waar een 47-lid samenwoont (een man met 7 vrouwen, 18 kinderen en 22 kleinkinderen)
- Zeugma Mosaic Museum Het ontleent zijn naam aan de oude stad Zeugma, een van de vier grootste steden van het oude Commagene koninkrijk. Het is een van de grootste mozaïekmusea ter wereld wat betreft de grootte van het gebouw en het gebied dat door de mozaïeken wordt bestreken. Het wereldberoemde ''Mozaïek van zigeunermeisje'' wordt hier ook tentoongesteld! U kunt hier voorbeelden zien van laatantieke kerken en vroeg-Syrische en christelijke iconografie. Er worden sculpturen, zuilen en fonteinen uit de Romeinse tijd tentoongesteld. Het mozaïek genaamd ''Maenad'' dat behoort tot de 2e eeuw na Christus, wordt hier tentoongesteld.
- Cappadocia Aan het einde van de dag rond 21.30 uur - 22.00 uur keert u terug naar Cappadocië; we kunnen u naar uw hotel in Cappadocië of op Kayseri Airport brengen, Als u niet terug wilt naar Cappadocië en als u tijd wilt besparen, kunnen we u helpen met het regelen van vluchten naar Istanbul, Efeze enz ... en u ook afzetten op Gaziantep Airport!

If your must visit sites include Gobeklitepe and Mt Nemrut this is the tour company for you. Our guide Mehmet and driver tailored the tour to ensure we had the experience we wanted. When the weather forecast looked like Mt Nemrut might be closed. Our driver driver drove for 9.5 hours to ensure we would have the opportunity to visit the site. Our guide not only talked about the sites but also about the history of the region and how we got to where we are today. It was very enlightening. My expirence with the tour company was outstanding. We should have planned our whole Turkiye trip with this company.
On this fascinating tour (3 Day’s Tour to Nemrut Mountain and Gobeklitepe), Mehmet Aktaş was an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and his English is impeccable; he was an English major in college. He told us that we were witnessing the real Turkey that few people see. Indeed, we only saw a spattering of foreign tourists: just a few Germans. On Mount Nemrut, we watched a beautiful sunset and basked in the alpenglow. The colossal statues are impressive: only the heads of the king and Gods survive with their torsos destroyed by earthquakes and the elements. Mount Nemrut is a special summit to ascend. I love history and archaeology, and the open-air Archaeological Museum in Göbekli Tepe was magnificent. I have wanted to visit this site for a while now, and it was really an ethereal experience. Mehmet escorted us through the maze of the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the biggest mosaic museum in the world, in Gaziantep. All the mosaics are beautiful and tell the stories of Antiquity and early Christianity. The Gypsy Girl mosaic is special for its relevance to Alexander the great. Mehmet gave us information about the sights and ruins, but he also drew a thumbnail sketch of Turkish society in terms of lifestyle, culture and beliefs that was very educational. Osman-Abi drove us safely up and down Mount Nemrut and also elsewhere. Would definitely recommend this company, Cappadocian Guide.
This was an amazing adventure that we will always cherish. Let's start with the people. Mahmut (spelling?) (Marco) our guide was a fountain of knowledge. He studied archeology under some great teachers. He taught us about the history, archeology, of all our sites, as well as modern Turkey. He was very attentive to our needs and questions with a good sense of humor. Ousmane our warrior of a driver was great and friendly, safety driving us through incredible landscapes. The sights we incredible. Gobeklite was magnificent. Around 11000 year old, Mount Nemrut and its sculptures was even more beautiful than the pictures, specially at Sunset. The Zeugma Mosaic was spectacular. The other stops were all very interesting and timely. The food was delicious. We got to taste local specialties. Urfa and Gaziantep are know for their famous food. The hotels we much better than I expected. The hotel on mount Nemrut had great views, and a nice breeze. The hotel in Gaziantep was in the old city. We slept great both nights. The car was a nice Mercedes van. We loved the scenery. Thank you for a wonderful adventure

This tour was beyond incredible — it felt like stepping into the heart of ancient history. Mount Nemrut was absolutely surreal at sunrise, with the giant stone heads glowing in golden light. You can feel the spiritual energy of the place — peaceful, powerful, and humbling. Göbekli Tepe was equally mind-blowing. Standing in front of the world’s oldest known temple structure gave me chills. Our guide Kadir was deeply knowledgeable and passionate, bringing the stories and symbolism to life in a way that made the experience even more meaningful. From the stunning landscapes to the sacred energy of each site in Mesopotamia, everything was perfectly paced and thoughtfully organized. If you're even remotely interested in ancient civilizations, spirituality, or archaeology — go. This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of magic.
We were on a 3-day tour to Nemrut Mountain and Gobeklitepe with our guide Kadir and it was absolutely amazing. This part of Türkiye is still a bit less touristic but stunning. We were very impressed by the site of Göbekli Tepe which is rewriting our knowledge of early development of civilization and the beauty of the sunset at Mount Nemrut is a must see like simply every activity on that tour. Kadir is very knowledgeable and very friendly. The explanations were detailed and precise. Many of them were crucial to our understanding of the historical process of archeology. He took the time to point out important details about modern Türkiye as well. The accommodations were perfect, especially the one in Sanlıurfa and the food was great everywhere. We strongly recommend this tour. Thank you, Kadir for a wonderful time.
