You will be accompanied by a local guide, Justine Poncet, who knows the region well and will be able to talk to you all along the way about the history, estates, wines and secrets of the Rhone Valley.
You will make stops to enjoy the magnificent views from the coasts!
You will discover the Syrah and Viognier grape variety as well as Marsanne and Roussanne, the emblematic varieties of the region.
You will enjoy exceptional white wines and red wines.
You will discover the most prestigious wines of the Rhone Valley such as AOP Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Saint-Joseph or Condrieu.
We drive you in our luxury vehicle and everything is planned so that you just go and enjoy your day with us.

Condrieu
You will pass through several villages in the Rhone Valley along the way. We will stop in the day (morning or afternoon) to admire the vines planted in the steep slopes. You will learn about the winemaking methods in the area and the work done throughout the year by winemakers.

Chavanay
We will make our first stop near the village of Chavanay or Ampuis for a first tasting in a wine estate. Tasting between 4 and 6 wines. Learn about winemaking and aging wines in the region.

We will then go further south, towards the village of Tain l'Hermitage. Along the way, enjoy the scenery and the view of these steep hillsides!

Tastings in 2 different wineries near Tain l'Hermitage (sometimes we can do 2 wineries in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, depending on the availability of the latter). Learn more about winemaking and cellar work. You will be able to compare the wines tasted in the morning with those of the afternoon.

Having done many wine tours. This tour was one of my favorites. Justine has curated three very different wineries to show the scope of wine here. We visited and tadted at a large medium and small producer. She is very knowledgeable and equally skilled at hospitality and sensitive to guests needs. It's a difficult skillet to have both. I'm in the industry and do wine education myself and still learned so much. She was generous and helpful with those who knew very little about wine as well. Her deep relationships with the wineries and winemakers led to not only larger than normal pours but additional information and enjoyment of each stop. Our lunch was in a beautiful location and had great food. Justine brought charcuterie to each stop for us as well. She thought of everything and you couldn't ask for a better tour or host. Sign up for this one for sure.

I had such a wonderful experience on this wine tour with Justine! She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about the wines and the region, making the entire tour engaging from start to finish. She was also very approachable and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable asking questions. She also chose a fantastic restaurant for lunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. This was my first wine tour, and it exceeded all of my expectations. It definitely encouraged me to explore more wine tours in the future. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and memorable experience!

Justine’s exceptional reputation as a guide for the whole day tour of the northern Rhône was truly confirmed by the wonderful experience that she provided for us and 5 other people. Her deep knowledge of the Rhône wine region as well as her established relationships with the 3 wine producers that we visited really enhanced the tour. The tours were to Guigal where she had worked for several years, Anthony and Antoine Perez (she worked with Antoine at Guigal previously), and Domaine Saint Clair. All the visits involved thoughtful tastings that featured the best of the producers and talks that were very helpful for understanding the unique characteristics of the Cote Rotie, Condrieu, and Saint Joseph regions. The first tasting was held in the serene wooded garden of Guigal which made for an excellent start to the day. Her upbeat and energetic personality as well as thoughtfulness for everyone’s comfort also made the difference and never flagged during the dat even though she was also driving the whole time and dealing with heavy traffic at times as well as an unexpected bicycle race delay in Tournon. Lunch at Tournesol was well chosen with its French-Thai along with the ability to pair well with Rhône wines such as Cornas and Hermitage blanc. We cannot imagine a better orientation to the northern Rhône wines than what we had with Justine!
Justine was exceptional. Her knowledge of wine and history made the experience perfect. The wineries visited were representative of each region. Our group was very diverse and that made the experience very interesting. Transportation was clean and comfortable. Lunch stop was good example of typical French cuisine and not expensive. I would highly recommend.
