The guide was incredibly informative, kind and engaging. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in, not only making a of a kind souvenir, but also to experience some of the culture in a calm environment, surrounded by fantastic thrift shops! I will be coming back next year, to bring my mom so she can have her own daruma!
This was such a fun activity! We got to decorate our own Daruma and learn about their history and symbolism in Japanese culture. We also got to write our names in Japanese. Our instructor was so sweet and even gave us a great recommendation for where to eat lunch afterwards. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity and a unique souvenir to take home!
Hands down recommend! Our favorite activity in Tokyo! ✨ My friend and I had so much fun crafting our Darumas. Tomomi-San is an amazing instructor, we spent three hours crafting, listening to calming music and drinking tea, it was fabulous. We hope to come visit again!🙏🏼

Tomomi is one of the nicest operators we have ever met, I would highly recommend this activity. I’m personally not into crafts but I still really enjoyed it and my wife loved it. Tomomi Was such a pleasure to meet.
This was an amazing experience and we learned so much about the Daruma dolls and their cultural meaning. It was so fun to create and make our own. Our host was so sweet ! We had amazing Japanese tea and snacks mixed with great conversations it felt like being at home. I defended recommend this experience for the whole family!!!

Easy to assemble - even for beginners. Super friendly and english speaking owner. Great with kids. Special bonus surprises that I won't give away. Do this experience, have fun and bring back great souvenirs!
