My journey through Egypt's rich ancient history was made unforgettable thanks to my guide, Khaled. From the moment I embarked on this adventure, Khaled's expertise and passion for Egyptian history shone through. His knowledge about the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatchepsut was extensive, bringing to life the stories and significance of these majestic sites. Khaled's approach was not just informative, but also incredibly engaging. He had a unique ability to connect the past with the present, making the history resonate with me on a personal level. What made the experience even more special was Khaled's consideration for my interests and pace as a solo traveler. He tailored the tour to suit my curiosity, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the experience without feeling rushed. His recommendations for local spots to explore and dine at were spot-on, adding an authentic flavor to my trip.
Great tour to see the main tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple, such an impressive site! We learned a lot about the New Kingdom thanks to our guide and we had an amazing day in West Luxor.
Khaled was fantastic when he guided my family for 5 days to various sites in Egypt. He was at our hotel every morning before our agreed upon time, patiently took us to different sites, made the long drive back-and-forth to Abydos and Dendera (worth the drive if you have time), and shared the history in terms that our middle school son could appreciate. I recommend Khaled to anyone that is looking for a very helpful and knowledgeable guide to all of the sites on both banks of the Nile.
We visited the Valley of the Kings in Luxor and it was exceptional. The site is incredible. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very informative about all the history of the site. We visited 3 tombs. All contained amazing preserved colors. Highly recommend
Guide was super knowledgeable and provided an overview before entering the various tombs. I’d highly recommend adding SETI I to your tour experience as this is the largest tomb.
Khalid explained us the amazing stories of these tombs and the temple, and made sure we knew where to look. Additionally, Khalid really knows how to photograph, resulting in great photos with a lot of temple and small amount or people ;)!
I really enjoyed the Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple tour. The tour guide explained the historical importance of both sites in great detail. I was very impressed with the excellent organization and efficient transportation provided. I hope to return again with the same company for other visits. We wished a private tour with a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced egyotologist and Khaled was the perfect fit. Our tour included the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, Clossi of Memnon. The tour starts with a private car picking us up at our hotel - its a comfortable ride and an encouraging start. Driving to the Valley, you get as much history on Egypt as you want - Khaled clearly knows his history! When we arrived at the Valley, he also selected 3 tombs for us to visit and gave us some very detailed information on what to look for and how to decipher some of the hieroglyphs. We then headed to the various temples where our history lesson continued at a reasonable pace. Snacks and drinks were provided along the way, and we failed miserably at stumping him on any questions we had. Overall, if you're looking for a top rated Company, Luxor tour guide the best choice !
