Join us for a tour of the Citadelle Gin distillery, in English, located at the heart of Château de Bonbonnet, and discover the secrets of the world's first artisan gin. For over a quarter of a century, the Citadelle team has been meticulously crafting this world-renowned gin, honored by the most prestigious spirits competitions and voted best French gin. At Citadelle, we aim to control every aspect of our production, including our juniper fields in front of the château, our orangery where citrus and aromatic plants grow, and our distillation of course! During your visit, you'll learn all about the production of France's first gin craft and its patented infusion process. We look forward to welcoming you to Château de Bonbonnet, where our team will reveal all the secrets of Citadelle Gin production!

We had a wonderful visit. Paul was an outstanding guide with a really good ability to describe the manufacture of the products and explanation of their history. After a really good tour we went on to taste their delicious products. Even now Paul taught us more about their outstanding gins. Very enjoyable and we thoroughly recommend you should go.
A beautiful setting for a great gin tour and tasting.
Probably the best visit I had in the Cognac region. The guide, Yohan, is a super speaker. It was fantastic. I recommend it.
Paul, our guide, had a great command of English, and conducted the whole guided tour without notes. The tour was educational, informative and interesting. Paul really knows his stuff! We've been on a number of tours of cognac distilleries and vineyards and this was by far the best tour we've ever been on. And the gin is excellent!
We had a fabulous tour. The guide Paul gave a lovely, informative and interesting talk and tour. We were amazed how well he spoke in English - without notes - and it was only his second tour. The tour itself includes not just a generous tasting at the end but information on the buildings, the chateau and the distillery history and its owner.
Absolutely tip top tour of this magnificent distillerie by our English/French group (17 of us). Emma was a great host and talked us through the gin process as we visited the distillerie and orangerie. We finished with a delicious tasting - which was a big success by the number of purchases that were made in the shop! Highly recommended- cheers Emma!
