A fascinating and surprising (long)afternoon with the enthusiastic and very knowledgeable tourguide Jan who was able to combine a challenging walk to Ermita St Lucia(150 meters high)with stunning views of the area,very interesting historical perspectives of Javea and excellent wines(he is an experienced wine professional too) A real mustdo!!!
Met a lovely group of people, enjoyed walking around Denia and the beautiful views from the Castle. Tasted good wines and Jan our guide was very knowledgable about the local history and Spain in general.
Jan was a wonderful host! He planned a lovely and festive Wine & Walk evening where we visited several restaurants for nibbles and wine, while walking around Javea and learning its history. Highly recommend his events!
We did a tour with Jan in Javea old town and had an absolutely fantastic afternoon. Jan has an incredible knowledge of the history of Spain and the local area — and of course, of wine. He took us to some truly beautiful spots and a charming restaurant. A wonderful experience from start to finish — highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!
Really nice tour to understand more about Javea. Even when we live here for a while there are still things to discover. The combination with the wine and bites is perfect. Highly recommended and there’s no better host then Jan.
I did this experience with a friend, and it was absolutely fantastic. Jan is such a passionate storyteller — he knows so much about the city, not the boring historical stuff, but really fun and interesting details. On top of that, he’s very knowledgeable about wine and shared wonderful insights about the wines we tasted. The small bites were delicious, and the whole experience felt perfectly balanced. Excellent value for money. A big fat recommendation for anyone visiting Jávea, Denia, or the surrounding area!
Was super fun and educational. And very cozy. Jan is a very cheerful fun and knowledgeable guide who knows a lot about the history of javea and also knows the nice places and still knows a lot about wine.
