Sapadere Canyon & Waterfall Tour w. Lunch & Transfer from Alanya

Firstly, the jeep arrived over an hour late and when it did turn up it was already full! The 3 of us were asked to "squash in" when - at best - there were only 2 seats!! We refused. At this point the driver said it was because we were "too big" and laughed at us. I have never felt so embarrassed or humiliated. We phoned to request a refund. Miraculously another bust then arrived and we were told we would have a VIP trip for the 3 of us., That was a lie to induce us to go. At the end of the first stop the buses were amalgamated and we were placed with elderly Russian tourists that demanded the music be turned off, told the driver to slow down and were very argumentative with us. This was absolutely not the experience we expected or paid for - BE VERY CAREFUL !!! Our driver, "Mike" was apologetic and tried several times on our behalf to alter what was going on, but to no avail. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. The trip? Stunning scenery and the canyon was amazing. Very steep climb in places, despite there being ramps - so definitely not for the less mobile. The river stop and lunch was lovely. Be warned - the water is freezing cold!

Our trip started rather bumpy. We waited for the jeep as agreed, but no one came. After 15 minutes I wrote to the provider if there were any changes, after which we got the answer that he would call the driver and ask. After about half an hour we were told that customers were delayed before us and therefore the transport was delayed by another 10 minutes. After the specified time (i.e. 40 minutes after the agreed time) a normal car arrived and the driver said that other people had cancelled from our hotel and the driver therefore thought that he no longer had to stop at our hotel. He apologized to us and drove us to the first stop of the group. The fact that the driver did not put the mobile phone out of his hand while driving at a significantly increased speed to catch up took some getting used to. Once at the meeting point, the symphatic tour guide introduced himself, which was definitely the highlight of the tour. He always provided entertainment, motivation and good mood. Until the first goal was reached, there was a water fight (it is recommended to bring waterproof packaging for mobile phones), after which the canyon was reached as the first big goal. There was no stop at a local Turkish house with Turkish tea to greet. But the canyon was very nice, even if the water was too cold to swim. The next stop was the dripstone cave. Since admission is not included, we preferred to enjoy the beautiful view. Last stop was the restaurant with the water park. The food was very delicious, but it should be noted that even if lunch is included, which does not apply to the drinks. There was no time to swim in the restaurant pool or slide the water slide. Our jeep driver (good driver and very friendly) then took us back to the hotel.
