Private Kentucky Bourbon Trail Tour

Kenny did a great job taking us to two horse farms and Keeneland race track. We were able to pet many horses at the farms.

My husband has been wanting to visit the Bourbon Trail, and we decided this is the year! There were a few “must-see” distilleries, so we began researching to plan our trip. Originally, we were debating between doing everything on our own or hiring a driver. While researching, we discovered Mint Julep. I called and spoke with Leah Joy. After speaking with her, we knew we wanted to work with her to plan our trip. We can’t say enough about how incredibly helpful, patient, and kind Leah was from the very beginning all the way through to the very end of our trip. Her knowledge and attention to detail are second to none. She set up EVERYTHING for us. We opted to do a private tour, and told Leah which distilleries were “must-sees” for us, and she was able to get us reservations. This is a really good thing, as some of these distilleries are extremely popular and reservations fill up weeks or months in advance. We also asked her for recommendations for other distilleries we may want to see, as well as restaurants she could recommend. Leah was spot-on with every single recommendation. We ended up having a driver for two days, and Neil was our driver both days. Neil was fabulous! Not only was he a super nice guy, but he knows the area incredibly well. He did such a great job of keeping us on schedule. We even had extra time, so Neil took us to a couple of other distilleries as well as local sites. He went out of his way to give us the absolute BEST experience! There is no way we would have been able to see and do all of these things on our own. We had so much fun with Neil. He truly is the best! If you are looking to plan a trip to tour the Bourbon Trail, we highly recommend Mint Julep! They are honestly worth every penny. Thank you, Leah Joy and Neil! We got to experience the Bourbon Trail at the hands of Dave and Gary. The two of them gave a great tour and a lot of interesting information about the area and its history.

Dan and Gary were great. They kept the boys moving and on time for our tours, gave solid info on the way, called out the sights we needed to see and gave a lot of great info.

Gary and Dan were incredibly knowledgeable and a blast to spend the day with traveling the bourbon trail. Highly recommend and ask for Gary and Dan!
