Picture this: golden afternoon light, a glass of chilled cava in hand, and a guide who feels less like a tour leader and more like a dear friend showing you her favorite corners of the city. That's exactly what the "Two Point Oh" Private Wine Trail delivers — and honestly, if you're visiting Málaga, this is the one experience you cannot skip. Our guide Linda made the entire experience. Her warmth and genuine joy for wine and Andalusian culture came through in every stop — she wasn't reciting a script, she was having a real conversation with us over each glass, weaving in history, local tips, and personal recommendations along the way. You could tell this isn't just a job for her; it's something she loves sharing. The route itself was a perfect introduction to Málaga's tapas culture in just a few hours. We started with different styles of gildas paired with vermouth, moved on to a goat dish alongside a rich Oloroso sherry, and later enjoyed a leek-and-ham dish and a beautiful goat cheese selection with a rosé cava and a red Ultreia by Raúl Pérez. The final stop brought what might have been the best gilda of the entire trip — Michelin-star quality — paired with a lovely white Rocalima. Every pairing felt considered, never random, and each one told you something about the region. The pace was relaxed (never rushed, never too slow), and by the end we didn't just leave with full stomachs and a wine buzz — we left with a real feel for Andalusian food and wine culture, plus a list of Linda's personal recommendations for the rest of our stay in Málaga. An absolutely fantastic wine tour experience! We visited some exciting places that we would probably never have discovered on our own. Linda is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and she shared fascinating stories and insights along the way. The wines were excellent, and the small dishes served alongside them were delicious and perfectly matched.
