We had a super interesting tour through the Hagia Sofia with our private guide. The Guide took his time to explain everything and had impressive knowledge of history, arts and religion. The Tour is absolutely worth its price and we had an amazing experience!
Great tour! A lot of very interesting information
This was easily the best tour we've been on while in Istanbul (and the others were really good). Our guide was Muhammet İșin. He was extremely knowledgeable about Turkish, Roman, Islamic, Christian, and pre-history. He was able to put the story of the Hagia Sophia into amazing context so you could truly understand the importance of the building and its place in history. He has so many little stories about the quirks of the building. Truly felt special. Definitely a great tour if you're keen on the deeper history of the building and Sultanahmet more broadly. Incredibly good value for money.
Our guide, Muhammet, was so kind and knowledgeable. He answered any question we had. He was also very funny which made the experience more enjoyable. He toured us like a family member and made us feel very comfortable. We are glad to have been guided by someone who knew so much of the history as it was a lot to take in if you were by yourself. You can tell his passion for the culture & was the most beautiful tour guide!
