Morning coffee finished, it's time to get your aprons and start baking! All breads - soda, wheaten and potato are griddle breads so they are ready in a matter of minutes. They're delicious!
Breads made - you'll be ready for some more tea and coffee and you'll want to try your breads which you will do at the kitchen table. You''ll join locals and Visitors in this experience and the craic will be great!
You will take home a big bag of your own homemade breads,and a copy of all recipes.
You'll need to bring an appetite as you have to eat everything on the table!

Mi trovo a 30 minuti da Belfast in un cottage con il tetto di paglia sulle rive del bellissimo Strangford Lough. Questa è un'area di straordinaria bellezza naturale. Fantastic family experience that was ideal for multiple ages. Great guidance from the staff and a really good afternoon that left us full of delicious bread. And dont mention the naughty goat...
I can't say enough about how great of an experience this was. Tracey was a lovely and kind host that clearly knows her stuff. She has created an incredibly comfortable and welcoming space - it's the perfect setting for some traditional bread making. If you like eating or baking, this experience is for you. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
This is sooo worth the hike out of Belfast to this lovely little excursion. This place is a gorgeous little house right off a beautiful Lough. We were able to walk down to the louh and I’ve never felt more at peace than there. Our teacher Irene was sooo patient with us as we were complete beginners. The tea and bannock/soda bread we were fed before starting made it feel more personable so that we could understand the differences between them and what we will make. We were also able to go out and see the farm animals in the yard which made this experience feel you are living on a farm or homestead. This place was picturesque and the bread making was so much fun!
We stopped at Tracey's to learn to make soda bread and for a lovely lunch. We were welcomed into their home as if we were family. The lunch was fabulous and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Their back yard is so inviting. I cannot stress enough what a wonderful stop this is. It is a must do when in Northern Ireland. #LuxuryGold
We were on a tour so there were 29 of us and we all made our very own soda bread. But you don’t have to be on a big tour. If you’re looking for an interactive and fun cooking experience, this one is for you! After Tracey shows you how, you’ll don an apron and try for yourself. You can eat one of your breads slathered with butter and homemade jam. And take the rest home for the next day. If it’s a nice day, wander around the yard and enjoy its beauty and some of the animals. Such a fun experience!
What a lovely way to spend an early afternoon. We baked bannock which is a soda bread baked on a hot griddle. Then we had our bread with a lovely lunch. You spend your time at her lovely farmhouse. I highly recommend this experience!
It was so much fun having tea and bread with 32 travelers at Tracey’s. She demonstrated how to make soda bread and anyone who wanted to make it could do so. She was very warm and welcoming, and encouraged us to go in her backyard to see their farm animals.
