Panoramica
With the White Mountains as a backdrop and always depended on wind direction we may sail northeast to a very small cove with beautiful sandy waters or we sail northwest around another small island to a beautiful lagoon, we drop anchor where you can swim/snorkel and play in crystal clear turquoise waters. While you swim I prepare you a freshly cooked Cretan/Spartan lunch with Greek specialties, local pasta, sauteed vegetables, fresh salad, mama’s olives, goat cheese, fresh bread, wine/beer/soda/water and finally fresh yogurt with sweet fruit and Greek sweets. You enjoy, eat, relax and then we raise anchor to sail back to port, usually as the sun starts to set in front of us.

Navighiamo dietro la piccola isola di Paleosouda verso una bellissima laguna, ci fermiamo all'ancora dove puoi nuotare / fare snorkeling e giocare in acque cristalline turchesi dove mentre fai il bagno ti preparo un pranzo cretese / spartano cucinato alla griglia con specialità greche, pasta locale, saltata verdure fresche, insalata fresca, olive della mamma, formaggio di capra, pane fresco, vino / birra e infine yogurt fresco con frutta dolce.

We had an awesome day with Nikos and Antonis. The wind wasn't super cooperative, but the weather was great and the food they prepared was delicious! Our driver was running behind on pick up, but they were kind enough to let us hang out on the boat in the shade.
A truely amazing and memorable experience. Without a doubt the best boat trip we have done. I highly recommend this boat trip with Niko. We will definitely book next year and ensure family and friends book when visiting Crete. Thank you Niko for exceeding our expectation.
Absolutely LOVED our trip with Nikos and Sail In Chania! A lovely way to explore beautiful, ancient waters. The crew took wonderful care of us - lots of history to better understand the area, a delicious lunch, and ample time to swim, relax, and even try our hands at the wheel! We sailed with Nikos as a last minute booking as our original plans were cancelled due to weather. We are so glad we booked this! We had the boat to ourselves, Nikos and his crew were pleasant and friendly to interact with and they made the experience meaningful despite the water being still a bit too cold to swim in. Would definitely book again!

We had an amazing time sailing with Nikos and Adonis. Great boat and we did some great sailing. Visited lovely swimming spots. Lunch was all fresh local and tasted amazing. Family really enjoy the day and would recommend the trip to anyone who Like the sea, sailing and good food.

This sailing excursion is wonderful and was a highlight of the trip. It is a wonderful ~6 hour experience that wanders out of the Chania port (easy to get a bus from town to the harbor and back). Nikos was very welcoming and professional as the boat captain. If the weather looks poor on a given day, he is happy to move the excursion to another day. The views as you sail around the bay are magical with clear waters and an endless horizon out to sea. It was a bit too cold in the water to swim too much in early May, but I would have not chosen another time as the out of water weather would have been oppressive. Nikos was kind enough to teach us a bit about sailing as well. The lunch that Nikos makes at the mid-point of the voyage is wonderful, including some of the best olives we've ever had. I absolutely recommend this experience as a fun experience for couples or families.
