Oh my what can I say but wow. This was a great tour and we were so full after we didn’t need dinner. All the food we tried was yumm. And learning about the food and its origins was really interesting. Out of 10 we give it a 20. Worth every cent. A definite must while in Istanbul.
Erol was first class. We loved this tour that taught us so much about the city as well as its food. The food we tried was delicious. A great way to visit Istanbul and gain an insight into its culture
Tolga was amazing! We had so much fun, learned a lot and of course ate even more. Would highly recommend this tour. It’s a great way to see part of the city and learn about the culture; plus you end up finding all the good spots to go back to!
Gamze was an excellent guide. Really friendly and chatty. Gave a bit of history and showed us some great off the beaten track places to eat and try amazing food.
Erol was our tour guide on this Istanbul food tour and he was excellent. The tour was just the right blend of stops, size of portions and information. It started in a cafe with a Turkish breakfast menemen and sujuk and tea, we then moved to try tantuni. Then on for some Turkish coffee, then to a shop to try manti and gozeleme. We then had mackerel wraps, mussels, cig kofte at various stalls. Finally a tulumba. Each stop we heard the history of the food, how Turkish people eat now and Erol was absolutely lovely. I thoroughly recommend for families.
